Not so private

If you think email/voicemail communication between a provider and yourself is private, think again.  Not only do you have to worry about SO's on your side, you also have to worry about SO's on the provider side with access to what you write/say.

So, next time you pour your heart out to a provider, remember that the whole thing is anything but private.

In our post 9-11, Patriot Act, democrofascist society, nothing is only for oneself. Everyone knows everything about everyone else it seems.

So I keep life simple. I just say/write/text/voicemail what I mean. And never say anything that I wouldn't stand up to and defend in the light of day should it be exposed and it becomes necessary.

Might be a tad hurtful at times, but I sleep like a baby at night. No worries.

Otherwise, I keep my mouth shut. That alone keeps me out of TONS of trouble. Till they start mining my thoughts, that is.

Your post DID get me to thinking though-being the SO of a provider must be an interesting experiment in dancing at the center of paradox, mustn't it?

Would love to hear THAT tale-feels like there could be a book there, or perhaps a Showtime Original Miniseries.

Or maybe just an Afterschool Special.

Talk about a tough row to hoe. No pun intended.

Still using the Handicapped stall to pee, so the government spies can't see my tiny wee wee,

JJ
