I would like to know how some can have an ad on the net but no email to contact with? I think that would be a first line of defense and personally it lets me find out things first with out giving out my number(had one repeatedly call back).Am I being picky? Let's hear from you!

I agree - a lot of time could be saved by using email for initial contact.  That's how I contact my favorites and I usually pass up provider's that do not have an email contact.

What does having a website have to do with having email? You don't have to have a computer to have a website. And if they are sititing around waiting for your emails, they aren't making any money.

That providers get played alot by guys that just want to swap emails. If you're man enough to call you're more likely to show up for your appointment. Besides, nothing is more anonimous than email. Most providers won't except block calls therefore your phone number shows up on their caller ID. That's their defense.

I disagree, I have more problems with phone calls. I don't get to my phone much because I have people call that will keep me on the phone asking questions that they know I don't want to answer and just trying to keep me on the phone to do whatever. I preffer e-mail because to quote Jordan Kay there is a delete button for those who are playing games. I think it is harder to try to be nice but get someone off the phone. I return my e-mail but after 5 e-mails of the same person asking the same thing I tell them that they need to book or find someone else.

I don't know what difference it makes. I emailed three providers yesterday about a possible encounter for later this evening when I get up to PHX and not a single reply....nada....biz must be pretty good up there.....

I know I can hit delete to all those that ask the wrong questions... but they seem less likely to book and I do the same thing as far as telling them they need to book or stop e-mailing me after so many going nowhere mails ie request for more pics etc... I prefer e-mail initially but have thought about not posting one lately... I am a good judge of character on the phone and tend not to answer when it is blocked...

Okay, so I am retired, however extremely experienced, and extremely well travelled.  I have had to learn, to my detriment, from my mistakes.  I have, however, learned to trust my instincts about people.  I believe, we as human beings can read subtle instincts about eachother by using our ears, eyes, and nose (if it smells like "  " it probably is) and feel (if it feels wrong it probably is).  I have found that relying on email booking alone has wound me up with more trouble(don't forget what danger this can imply). I was able to gather more by speaking with my clients than with emails especially after problems had occurred. To clients that have gripes about the way a particular provider interacts and responds with her clients, please take into account that there are SO many factors that contribute to her responding back to you.... A)You may have come across as disrespectful, overbearing, or not willing to provide information = danger  B) She may be dealing with fears of getting into mishap =danger C)personal issues which you should not question or publicise (just as you hope she does not share with other providers your cancellations and personal issues)  D) is not in the mood (and you're better off not seeing her).  If you are basing your experience on her reviews (if they are great she probably enjoys her work) and she is not up to par then you are not going to see her at her best ("the great reviews you just read!"). Please remember the environment you are in:)    respectfully

Sedona;

I wish you would come out of retirement.  You are the best.

Ya got me... I would think that any smart provider would have an email address on their website because the potential client looking at your site is already online (obviously) and may not have the privacy or 'right time' to make a call.
