I was recently sent an email from a gentleman, after several email exchanges and a date already lined up for over a week now. He,two days before our date asked me if I had a license and or permit to operate in the valley, and if I did not I would have to lower my donation without a permit. I'm of course legal to operate in this state, but this gentlman is obviously a threat to the community, Glen from phoenix411 agreed I send the message off to the list and other sites warning women of this man. If allowed I will post his name and number on the board to warn of who he is and the email that was sent to me(which I sent to Glen last night. This gentleman agreed of my donation and I was waiting for his response on where we would be meeting, he then sent to me the email of whether I was legal or not to operate in the valley, if not my donation would have to be lowered, he did not ask me he told me.  He seen 3 other women off the Phx 411 site, if he did this to them as well he needs to be stopped.

The law seems to be seldom enforced, as there are many massage parlors in the Phoenix area where sex is on offer.

Of course, all of the local escorts don’t worry about this law, as massage is not generally advertised, and not their major trade.  In fact if a lady displays her license number, either on the net or in print, it is a sure sign that you will leave dissatisfied.

Brooke, it sounds like you came across a jerk trying to use this local, legal abnormality to his advantage!!!

it sounds like he is trying to use it as a bargaining tool.. of course, it does not seem to be a real bargaining chip unless he threatens to involve LE but that would constitute outright blackmail.. I would say if you call his bluff and stick to your set rate he will either cave in or he will walk.. either way it will show him the tactic is ineffective.
Just my 3 cents,

Thanks for responding to my concerns, I really appreciate it. I never had someone come at me with those questions and by someone who had seen other local providers in the community. Thanks again for taking the time to give me a reply, that was very nice of you. I know I don't post much on the discussion boards so I wasn't sure what was okay to say or not. Take care and maybe we will have a chance to meet in the future!
