Hmmmm aren't all birds supposed to be cooked today? I realize they are the home team but.....as long as Bidwell is the owner they will never be a Championship team.
But all 3 of the other teams in the division have at least one Superbowl appearance, two of the three since the last time the Cards made the playoffs.
I'm not expecting a championship, or even advancing in the NFC playoffs. But I have been a struggling Cardinals fan for over 20 years, you've got to celebrate when you can!!! OK, it wasn't this week, but the Cardinals have enough of lead, that even Mr. Bidwill can't screw things up (fingers and toes crossed!!!!).

Now talk about a house bet - I'm an Arizonan living in England, I made my annual trip home a couple of months ago. Like I said, I am a long suffering Cardinals fan - winning seasons are few (and still not secured), playoff appearances, only one since the move to AZ, a potential division championship, the first since 1975. It still looks good!
Right now, I am only asking for a 17th game.

As a Arizona native I want to cheer on the home team but it is so hard to believe....even in Santa Claus.

We mods, and STAFF are often rumored or suspected of accepting, or demanding discounts or freebies in exchange for favorable treatment on the boards - believe me, I have seen more than my share of PM's stating "who do I have to sleep with to get my ads up here?" or "the mod is visiting from out-of-town, and is having a good time - I wonder what deals he is getting?!?"
I can't speak for my colleagues, but I doubt the other mods play these games. I can speak for myself, and I WILL NOT accept freebies, or discounts not offered to others!!! My role as a mod has opened some doors, to see gals, and avoid more strenuous screening requirements which I can't meet!!! Most of the gals I see are in Europe, and have no idea about screening and references. A call to my company switchboard will get you to me, but it is an international call.
A little notoriety, and the goodwill of the ladies, are the only perks I will ever hope for, ask for, but never would expect anything more!!!
