Why do providers who post there make an effort to disguise their phone numbers (either they space it weirdly, add characters between the numbers or spell out the numbers with letters)?
Is it as I suspect, to make it harder to do a posting search history on them to discover their other ads, or is there some criteria of CL that they are needing to bypass with the funky number sequence?
I have seen providers I know and have used do it, as well as ones I would discount immediately as scams, so I was curious if you were in the know about this. Seems to me if they have to hide their number-why should I bother?

Can she ? I just called her and she might be in town for another week. $300/outcall. Says she's GFE. Seemed generally gracious when I told her that her picture was lovely. Ok, someone talk sense into me.

Take a good hard look at the 6 posts that come up, and then decide. That's the first thing I do when I am even remotely interested in something I see there-it's usually enough to waive me off.
Cause to my eye, the "Katies" of 11-18 and 11-19 look different from the latest pic. And I know I have seen that number before 11-18, but I think posts drop off after a certain period of time.
Browsing RM Studios website (The name of the photography place on the pic), they do print and magazine work, and usually places like that don't put their imprint on pics models intend to use in a portfolio or to post on websites-they usually do that on their stock photogs so people don't try and post them and claim them as their own.
What does all this mean? Hey, who knows for sure-but for 3 bills outcall, there's more sure choices out there. When I wanna gamble I usually GO to Vegas, rather than have Vegas come to my door.
But that's just me.

Frankly, I'd love to know about her, but chances are so strong, IMHO, that she's a scam, that I personally won't touch it. There are so many great gals, Indie and Agency, around here these days, that I don't think it can be money well-$pent.
That notwithstanding, please let us know the outcome if you do meet up with her!

well it is craigs so you have to be careful. Now this one was a scam i agree with you. However to write craigs totally is a mistake imo. I could have just been lucky (or paranoid which contributed to my luck) but i have seen more than a few ladies from craigs with results from fair to very good.
Now i do have some rules that i follow
1 see only locals, out of towners are here for the cash the locals have to live with us.
2 check the phone number at several places
3 look for anything that seems funny in the ad for example repeating subjects where the name is only thing that changes
4 call them and see how they sound
5 if i do make an appt show up early and see who goes in and out. The traffic in the place will tell you everything else you need to know. if it looks shaky leave.
if she passes all the above criteria your probably not going to be robbed. Granted ymmv alot more with of these ladies than say Jordan Kay so you may leave with that vague feeling that you really spent more than it was worth. Every once in a while you find someone very cool and awesome.

craigs at one point filtered phone numbers but no longer does so. If they do try to hide their number i wont call them (mostly, did once and it was ok but the girl was also on a certain list)

Dont be suprised if you get taken in one form or another.. To me, its not worth the risk. Think w/ your head on your shoulders this time.
The add says incall for $150 in Scottsdale, where does the $300 come from?
She said $300 for outcall. I spoke with her again and she admitted that she is not the girl in the kinky katie pic. She did swear to be the girl in the "cali girl" ad. What nonsense. But now that you mention it. Is there a fine independent or agency provider in Phoenxix that does outcall for $250-300/hr? It seems the going rate is $350-400 for a really fine date.
