First off the OP offered to reveal the providers name if you pm him. Now for why mongers don't reveal the identity.  If you reveal the name you risk retaliation by the provider, especially if you've given her personal info. Second, it may effect who you may see in the future. Third, attacks by WKs who will come to her rescue.

So I just had my first No Call No Show experience. Since this is the first time that this has happened to me, I'm sorta of not knowing what I should do. So seeing what others with NCNS experiences think.

So basically had an incall appointment with a lady, who is well reviewed by 3 very well respected reviewers that we all know of here on the board. She replied to me in email saying all is good and see me at 5pm. So the day comes, she calls me last minute saying she does not have an incall and is it ok to get a place. No problem, I don't mind adjusting. So I got a room for us and sent her the info. She emailed back saying great and see me at 5pm. She calls at 4:30pm saying she need little bit more time. I said sure thing, no problem. So I waited...5:30pm nothing. I called her to check if everything is ok, but she does not pick up so I left a message. 6:30pm still nothing, 7:30pm still nothing, 8:00pm still nothing. I have called, emailed, and text her at least 5 times. She never responded to any of them. So I am left hanging with a paid room with a no call no show...

So what would you do?

Out her by posting her name on the board?
Write a NCNS review? (How do you even do that?)
PM the mod?

No sense in outing her. But email her with your expenses and see what she comes back with. Your time is valuable as well. See if she will make it up to you somehow.

Or, write it off. And do not see her again. Over time, if they do that enough, their business suffers. It is just not worth the headache (though I feel your pain as I have had it happen to me - including the hotel and "gifts" part).

Would you go back to the same dentist if it happened? How many times would you go back to a restaurant, if on a special occasion (and after confirming) - you showed up with people and they would not seat you?

Things do happen - give her a chance to fix it. Then decide.

Wish I had popped back in sooner-cause you know I always have at least two cents on me at all times.

Oh yeah, as to NCNS....She knows what she did, whether there is a good reason or not. If she wanted to "make it right", she would have, or will.

If not, on to the next one.
Cause yeah...they're good till they're not.

Life evolves...and never changes. I miss some of the simple things we shared, like a meal at Frashers. A dance from Devin (though I bumped into one there with similar pheromone and aggressiveness which put a smile on my face for $). A debate on the semantics of the hobby. And neurolistic programming phrases.

The drama before was not who was the best and are they real, but how do I get on her calendar.  Seems there was more time for boyish adventures and no worries of health, time, and misdirections.

Yes, back in the world a bit. But only occasionally. And not always in this part of the planet. And I treasure a great meal with family, the company of close friends and people I love so much now having learned from my past that it is in those moments memories are created that make me smile. Like Krista in the jacuzzi in the middle of summer ;-)

They were always good till they're not. But damn, were they good.

I feel like singing the New Years eve song early........hope you are doing well!

Shit happens, but you can post a review & in the hobbist only forum pm a mod, or contact TER to find out the actual guidelines, but you not only wasted your time, but you spent $ on the room too!

Totally not ok!

You can give her an opportunity to redeem herself by sending her a pm with the link to your post, so she is aware of the alternatives.  If it was me I would start by apologizing & then, offer you a discount, or at least deduct the hotel expense & maybe add a half hour of fun time...

I think that may help, but again sorry that happened to you!

of my mouth. I would give the lady a chance to respond to you. Something catastrophic could have happened on the way over to see you. See what she has to say and what she thinks she should do about it. Then you can make an informed decision on what you want to do about it. If she is the type to get good reviews and is known to be responsible I'd be a little worried about her.  Give her time to respond.

Talking about something catastrophic that maybe happened, back last summer I was set to see a provider named Tori who was popular from March through July this year.  She got two or three new reviews per month.  Anyway, she called to ask I postpone for half an hour because her car battery was dead, and I think it was Thursday, her night to go back to Tucson as per her weekly routine.  I got within a block of the incall and she called to report the problem was more than a dead battery, she would be stuck at the gas station and would need to reschedule.  Called the next week and a few times after.  Was not able to connect with her, and no one has reviewed her since.  Her website and CV ads are still up, but it's almost as if I was the last person to talk to her, at least in the hobby world.  Like she fell off the Earth.  Yes, strange things happen.

I made an appointment with her once. She told me to call from an intersection. When I got there she would not answer the phone any more. This was about the time you mentioned but I saw several reviews after that. Maybe we both have scary phone numbers or something. Who knows.

I'm stunned that you have 33 reviews and this is the first time for you. I feel your pain. I would give her a chance to make it right. We all have had time were things go terribly wrong and we need a chance to fix the situation. If she doesn't attempt to work with you then I suggest you out her as this is the primary reason this site is in existence. BTW I'm interested in knowing regardless so please PM me.

I do not understand the reasoning for not letting people know who the NCNS are.  Some do not live in the valley have to travel significant distances, not to mention we take time out of our lives.  NCNS is  data like every other aspect that gets reviewed.  Shouldn't it be up to the person reading the information to decide if it is pertinent to their decision criteria?  Obviously the topic has energy since every time someething like this comes up, people are reticent to mention who it is.  Maybe I am overlooking something but if I saw someone had several no shows, I might make another selection.  Wouldn't this increase accountability?

I would consider yourself quite fortunate.  I've had a number of no call no shows. Or getting a call like 2 or 3 hours after the set time asking to meet then.  Depending what happens or whats said I will normally give them another chance then I will call a number of times to verify.. if it still happens again I'm normally done.  Only gave a provider a 3rd chance one other time she had a very believable excuse at least something new and it went very well that third time.  But if I get a routine excuse or simple never hear back I move on.

reputable providers
great effort, time and expense to see them
contact and confirmation on the day of appointment
NCNS at scheduled time - wait for 2 hours
no answer to phone or text during waiting time
one was a first visit, the other was a repeat

The first visit provider emailed me the next day with a no excuses apology, and an extremely generous offer to make up her folly. She follew through and truly made up for it, which set everything right. We are still on great terms and I see her and recommend her.

The repeat provider texted me, said she was sorry but she fell asleep and didn't wake up. Knowing this provider and how she does business, I believed that is what happened. However, she made no offer of amends which I took as a clear sign that I am a not a client she values. No hard feelings, but I no longer repeat.

Fool me twice - Shame on me

I recently had two NCNS with the same provider who regularly posts here, has a website, and has had multiple reviews from well known reviewers.

Both times I booked a hotel and waited and waited.  She kept up with her email telling me she would be late but when that time came around she just never replies.  I emailed multiple times making sure she was actually ok and not assuming she was just blowing me off.  No response, but of course a day later she is posting here.  Pretty frustrating if you ask me.
