That has little to do with the seriousness and importance of voting but I'd much rather eat food off the floor than have Arpaio as sheriff for another term.

I suppose it will be funny until he runs another sting operation and we see more providers and hobbyists on TV ;o)

Thanks keeno I just don't want to see us go through anything like that ever again if at all possible and the only way to do that is to vote the man out.

I understand a lot of the reasoning for not voting because there was a time when I didn't bother to vote either. Some think that their voting or not voting won't make any difference...IT DOES! Some think that it's too big a hassle to register...you can do it online. Some think it's too big of a hassle to go vote...so get an absentee ballot sent to you and vote at your leisure at home. I had one of the dumbest excuses of all...I heard that they picked people for jury duty through voter registration and I didn't want to be called for it. It took the whole Evan Mecham fiasco to make me see that if I don't vote I have no right to complain about what happens in government/law enforcement so I registered and have voted since.

Please, to anyone who doesn't think it's worth your time or makes a difference, you're wrong. It can be the difference between another term with 'America's Toughest Sheriff' (and BIGGEST ASSHOLE) or getting someone for sheriff who isn't a power hungry, arrogant media glutton with a vendetta against adult pleasure!
