its off of the 51 and northern.....you go east from the exit and the road will lead you right to a parking lot.....you'll have to keep your pups leashed till you get on a actually trail but I take my dog there once a week at least and i let her off leash ....never had a problem but shes really friendly too...... lots of trails so you don't have to worry about too many people .... theres also a area just south of thunderbird on 7th st...... (more flat surfaces to hike here......dreamy dram seems to have more up and down the mountain trails)....hope this helps
