Obviously one of the biggest changes in the hobby since I started is the internet. Way back when you had word of mouth, a usegroup (alt.sex.prostitution) for those savvy enough to navigate the "preGUI" web and various "hardcopy" 411 like the original Dave's list (which was actually a mailing then)....

One of the initial "big bangs" was mass advertising boards like EROS. One of the many original purposes of boards like this one was to police the tremendous number of ripoffs that occured.

Here in Phoenix we are lucky to have one guy who stepped up and brought some order to the new frontier. For years now if you find it on Phoenix411 you know its "real" because Glenn wouldnt have it any other way....
