The sounds of my brain shorting out.

I watched this time. I could feel the impending short and ran to stand in front of my bathroom mirror. It was interesting, watching the sparks in my eyes as neurons flared, then failed, connections burned out. Then smoke, smelling of burnt wiring and singed gray matter, curled from my ears. Finally, my eyes glazed over, and a look of complete cluelessness filled my face.

Fortunately, I was nowhere near a computer keyboard, so the words that were generated by all that chaos had no outlet, ultimately destroyed by the electrical fire in my head.  

No one heard or read the rant, the irrational, hurtful, utterly useless, rant that always springs from my hands and mouth during these episodes.

And there was much rejoicing (Yaaaaaaaaaaaay).
