I am not active enough in our little community off the boards to pull this off. I know that Jack and Danny have successfully done this in the past. With all of the drownings that occur every summer right here in Arizona, I suspect most of you have either been through this with a family member or know someone who has or know someone who knows someone who has. Can we pull something together perhaps by next weekend on behalf of Manae. I know it was done for Toys for Tots and for the Tsunami victims, is anyone in tune enough with the community to get the word out and put this together? I'd be happy to coordinate a time and place.

Heartfelt condolence. Have never met Manae but feel like I know her from her posts. Always got a kick out of her excitment to be in the valley. In a future reality I would consider it an honor to take up wooden sword, don a righteous hand applied crest, and fight imaginary dragons lead by Sir William.

Though Ive never meet Manae, the loss of a child is a loss for us all. My heart goes out to her. If there is an interest in doing a raffle, I would consider putting up a photo shoot as one item. and.. a complete web site design as another.  Any thoughts?

As far as a time and place go please let me know waht you have in mind. I am familiar with most of the club owners/GM's in town be it strip or regular. I know the guys at the Penthouse Club or at Centerfolds would be more than happy to provide space for this event. I would be happy to assist you in this. I appreciate your call tonight Megan and am sorry I could not get back to you tonight.  I did speak with a couple of people regarding the proper forum to have such a fundraiser.  The question is whether a club atomosphere is the proper place to do this or should we celebrate life and at the same time help Manae as much as possible with our donations.  Scott, Danny and I are prepared to put a program together for next Tuesday night at The Penthouse Club if the community feels it is the right venue.  Megan can facilitate collection of donations to help defray Manae's cost.  A celebration of life and a chance to help a fellow member of this community.  We welcome any and all comments or assistance from any and all independents and agencies in getting this word out.  Please express your opinions and based on your thoughts and wishes we will move forward.  Thanks to all for their imput.

I tend to agree with Loverboy on this as to the proper forum and proper atmosphere.  It seems that both probiders and hobbyists could just donate to the memorial fund through the available means either directly or threugh PayPal. It is nice to see that much support from the community.

Yes, I think a raffle is a great idea with your offer of doing a website or photoshoot if a lady wins and if a gentleman wins, I will be offering a two hour date as a prize. If there are any other ladies interested in offering their time as a prize for the gentleman who may win, please contact either Denny or myself.
