Yesterday things got a little unhinged around here. It was suggested I didn’t fully understand the scoring performance system and point assessment. And I should be satisfied that my review underwent the same process of adjustment all reviews are subjected too e.i. fairly assessed and adjusted.
Here is a little research in to the arbitrary adjustments in performance scores as it relates to reviews. Strictly unscientific and full of bias as it is well known that I have my own conniving self-shilling interests at heart.
Even although I possess the skills I don’t have the time or disposition to compile an actual report so take this for what it is worth.
The Criteria:
The TER scoring equation as extracted from guidelines for scoring or base points and perk points.
“…provider may only earn up to a 7, unless she also performs the following during a session: Kisses With Tongue, Bare-Back Blow Job, Really Bi, Anal Sex, or More than One Guy. The addition of each offering will raise her score by one point. If your review doesn't already accurately reflect this rating system, we will adjust it.”
“Again, please try to save the 8 and 9 ranks for situations where out of the ordinary services are provided (i.e. Blow Job - without condom, Kissing with tongue, Really Bi, More than one guy). Each of these, beyond-the-call-of-duty talents count for one hard earned point. Of course, the 10 rating should be reserved for an experience that is really worth a million!”

The dirty little secret that nobody has mentioned here is that there are also providers whose ratings are protected by TER. In other words, certain ladies have entree to whomever it takes, so that if a low score or bad review is posted, they can call and get it pulled and "rejected" within hours. (I've heard this from more than one hobbyist whose review has been rejected.) Of course, the flip side of that coin is that there are some jerks out there who post fictional bad reviews just to bring down a lady. How is TER supposed to know who's lying?
Combining that with AzNoon's analysis, leads me to the conclusion that one really should use reviews for entertainment value only, because you never know which ones are pure fiction!
Well, I hope this not happening, A provider should not be able to change or remove a review unless it truly is a fake.
I've been around here for 2 years this June and I have never had a fake review, I only asked TER one time about a review I was told from the gent that he miss typed a 6 instead of 7, I was told in a very rudely fashion "I could do noting about it and not to contact them again regarding reviews". Well E x u s e ME!!!!! I wrote back.
The review system is ok, it's just not being used according to the guidelines and it certainly is not being moderated the same for all.
I better not find out that some providers are being protected by TER, or I can tell you now the shit will hit the fan!!!!!!!!!!
I pay my membership as do others, so I better be treated as others. You all should feel that way!!!!
That meshes with something ive seen happen with less than favorable reviews for certan people.

1st, the most "famous" documented case is of the gal in new york whose husband/pimp actually is doing jail time and paid for "protection" review wise. However this gal was repeatedly getting 2k an hour with high repeat volume so she was doing something right

The reality is that the reviews are TER's most tanible product and what folks are actually paying for. It makes little or no business sense to creat doubt about the validity of reviews as a whole (not arguing that above mentioned issues dont happen). I think the reason for the increased scrutiny is actually a backlash from the real "slient majority" {the 98% who post niehter to the BBS or write reviews} that the reviews have become less helpful. Remember this is a multiBILLION dollar business and that the underlying economics drive everything. You can only play with the golden goose so much before it starts to fire blanks
I have seen TER lower reviews that they felt were overrated....I have also seen reviews disappear but only after problem reports were issued and the review was investigated by TER staff.
I have been approached by many independants and agencies who felt that a session was either fake or not fairly represented in a review. I recommended that the lady utilize the problem report and email complaint to have the review evaluated for fairness by TER......I would say that less than 10% of the complaints are resolved by pulling the review. I have never seen a review score go up.
This is a YMMV thing...and I do agree with aznoon that there is grade inflation going on here....
Read the reviews, PM hobbiests who have seen the SP before....you would be amazed at the REAL TRUTH that sometimes flows in a PM that someone feels uncomfortable putting in a review.

I've been completely ignored when trying to contact the powers that be via the problem report button. In fact, I had discrepencies all over my "profile" and finally asked two separate gentlemen to make the report so that something would be done.
The powers that be seem to ignore the paying ladies on this site. I myself have a membership, yet I receive no customer service when it's needed. I have a fake review around page 2 of my profile, I've requested on several different occasions the review be looked at and removed. I never so much as received a message back stating that they were looking into it and now, almost a year later, it still stands.
So, the problems with this site as far as they apply to me:
1. Major inconsistency with enforcing their own rules
2. Lack of customer service to existing members
3. Lack of any response to my problem reports, with an interesting immediate response when gentlemen have been asked to contact the powers that be to make corrections.
So, here's my question: With all the rumors that have been floating around for years about this site and favors and other things I won't mention, when will our money actually pay for some semblance of customer service? When will we, as paid members, be valued as such? I suspect we won't because just like a child whose gotten away with lying for years, there's no reason to change if the bad behavior has no negative consequence.

and again bring up your concerns....I would suggest you again enter problem reports, if that doesn't work....try an email to [email protected] that doesn't work try a PM to STAFF and if that doesn't work, contact me and I will do what I can to get it to the proper person at TER......
I will tell you that paying money....versus earned membership versus free membership doesn't matter....in my experience, intellegent, profesionally presented issues, respectfully submitted are resolved after due process.....immature tirades and threats are ignored....

I always write in a professional manner when dealing with anyone. Clients can verify that, other ladies whom I've asked reviews of will tell you that and staff themselves, if they bothered to read my notes, could tell you that.
The bottom line is simple; Customer service is given to some and to some it is not. I happen to be in the "not" list, which is fine. From what I've heard from some sources, it's better I'm in the "not" category. The principle is the same however, if it doesn't matter that I paid for my membership and it doesn't matter that a gentleman reviews for membership, then both the gentleman and the paying person ought to receive customer service, period.
I gave up. But ironically, when the two men were gracious enough to write in problem reports to correct my profile, it was done in under 24 hours. I'm not going to continually submit reports and beg to be treated like the customer I am. It's easier to just let it go and let the majority figure out that the review is fake. It's been almost a year and I sent three requests in the month it occurred. Never so much as received a, "Thanks, we're looking into it." It's no longer important to me. But the fact that so many people have said their requests are ignored ought to tell you something about the customer service here. It's not a select few offering "immature tirades or threats" it's your paying client base.
And frankly Dingus, I still await, three weeks later, a reply to the PM I sent you regarding a separate issue. I wrote in complete, calm sentences and paragraphs, backed up my proof and offered more proof and I was ignored by you as well.

first off the rating system... well i dont think it realy means that much to the guys. not all guys want a girl to engage in unprotected behaviors, infact some seek out girls who are clean and safe. I dont see why engaging in behaviors that will spread disease throughout the comunity will give you bonus points. the gift that keeps on giving is not a gift you want to bring home to your family.
i think if a guy believes he had a one in a million type date with a lady that his rating should not be changed by some point system.
changing the ratings encourages guys to embellish details so their favorite girl can get a 10. for instancea girl doesn't do anal but a guy puts it in the review just so he can rate her as a 10. basicaly it just encourages lies in the reviews and that is never good.
I understand ter is trying to make money of erotic stories so the steamier the better but honestly my favorite reviews say the girl was honest, dependable, discreet, sweet, openminded and fun all the raw details tend to make me blush.
i myself have had troubles with the reviews on this site. I have had many untrue reviews posted on my name because a few of the agencies in town took my name auriana love and used it for their website adds. these agencies sent out whoever on my stage name after steeling it. i have been trying to get these reviews written about other girls taken off for years and i just get ignored i dont even get an email back. 2 years ago they removed some of these reviews but not all of them. i guess many of these reviews said i weighed 300 lbs and was covered head to toe in tatoos. those of you who know me know i am 100 lbs soaking wet and have no tatoos whatsoever. so they removed all the reviews that mentioned tatoos or weight but not all my wrong reviews. when i ask to have the other reviews removed i am just ignored now. most of my reviews are 8s and 9s except for 2 that are wrong and need to be removed. they are not calls that I ever did, I never met these guys or had these experiences they describe behaviors that i will never do. I will never get a true bad review because I treat people well and always do my best to impress. honestly i am just a sweet girl with geniune intentions. I have never screwed over or lied to anyone. I just enjoy having fun and unconventional relationships without all the hassle and drama of traditional dating.
I note that I did respond by asking you to take the rhetoric down a bit....you provided heresay proof....which is probably true, but would only inflame, not resolve the issues that were at play at the time.
I would suggest as above, if you are not getting heard, keep at it.....reaching out via PM a day or two later if you were looking for confirmation or a response to your PM would have gotten a reply.....I viewed your response as a reply to my earlier PM....I don't usually reply to these.....sorry if you deemed this as a lack of customer service.

I've had the rating on a review changed upward. Once I did an overnight with a wonderful lady and I posted a review with a "10" for performance. The overnight was over 12 hours of intimacy and we did almost everything. When I posted the review, TER changed the performance to a "9". I challenged TER and they removed the review and allowed me to change it to meet their criteria. When I re-submitted the review, it went through as a "10".
So, yes Dingus, the numbers can be upped on reviews.
The ratings may be determined by WHO at TER is approving them. I have had ratings cut by Staff when the same number for similar services posted by other gents on other ladies was OK. I also have had a review that Staff would not post until I upped the rating! At times the reviews go through easily, other times they are scrutinized. It does seem there is someone at Staff trying to lend some consistency. It is a subjective experience, being squeezed into an objective matrix. Narrative and back channel information is often more helpful in the goal of finding a right fit. Besides that it is all fictional anyways!
In my view, strength is in the numbers. If there are numerous reviews,a hobbyist can tell by looking to find consistancy that should lead to accuracy. There is also the factor of chemistry. Some couples hit it off and some don't and that to some degree cannot be helped by the provider. Bad chemistry can lead to less than stellar review
and problem reports.....support@theeroticreview is the second step (after a problem report) if you have an issue....I have also seen issues brought up on local boards that generate enough buzz so that they are "fixed" by TER.

but, how can you say that a back channel is more helpful in finding the right fit.....wouldn't that depend on who was on the other end of the back channel, I know if it were you and muffy, jeffrey, boz, sumo, hacker, just to name a few. I and several other ladies might as well give it up.
The reviews are really the best for someone looking to make there informed choice. It's just how there not being screened and posted in a consistent manner.

What the review should do:
First question it answers, is she a ripoff? Yes or no. If she is, what con does she play?
Did you feel you got your money's worth? If so, why? If not, why not?
Besides the obvious (or perhaps because of the obvious) was there something that "stood out" about her services? So the question, why does this have to be a BBBJTCIM, anal, or especially anything else?
Do you recommend her? How highly and why?
Remember how you rate her above a certain amount doesn't matter to other guys, who have totally different tastes.
After these purposes have been met, remember: it's all fiction written for entertainment purposes only...
