Fool me twice shame on me. You knew someone was gonna hit you with this saying. Let it be a lesson, no second chances.

This is crazy. She texted yesterday and we rescheduled. And today, not contact again.

Found a provider who accepted new hobbyists from P411 and she also had pretty good review here in TER. I sent an appointment request to her on Wednesday for Saturday 11:30 AM using P411 and she texted back confirming the date and time and also sent me an email confirming. She said she will text me the address an hour before the time of our meet.
Today, no word from her, I texted her a couple of times but no reply. Haven't heard from her yet. This was the first time I contacted a provider so not sure if there was any step I missed.

In general, is this a rare occurrence or fairly common? Is there a way in TER to find out if some one has a poor record of keeping up the appointments?

Rare
Reviews will tell you that.
double check to see if you were supposed to contact her an ahead of time(I have reading problems).

Oh. If you read it correctly, it cud simply be disrupted communication ability.
Was there a next person on your list?
some of my lists have three to four similar people on them, especially in the Phoenix area. Or, 3-4people who are quite different.

One time I contacted a lady and heard a message that her dog ate her cell so it was unlikely she return any phone calls?!!  A few days later her add had a new phone number.  Some day when I'm in her area again, I schedule and find out how she changed her cell phone message?!!

Deprived and curious

Unless I'm mistaken, TER does NOT allow NCNS reviews. Reviews will tell you about B/S, Ripoffs, etc. as I believe the policy is as long as you MEET, you can write a review

If it is someone I've not met before, I'll set up a time and date well in advance.  Normally, I've been asked to make contact 24 hours before our time, and then again one hour before for final confirmation and location details.

At first if you don't succeed....

Unless you are leaving something out, sounds like you did all you could. Shit happens.

She texted me back later in the day and gave a plausible reason. We've rescheduled it so I hope this does not happen again.

Would assume she has the same hope.
If you want to take any tension out of ur first meeting stop by Fry's and pick up some flowers. it might be the best gift u've ever given urself (assuming u understand to give them to her).

Don't contact her again, don't give her one more second of your time or energy, and don't try to diagnose the basis for her clearly chronic flakiness.

YUP.
Unreliable.  Better finding out before dropping a donation for a meeting.

I'm pretty sure I've seen a couple of well respected women indicate they are "new comer friendly".

One in particular I remember has magnificent red hair. If you scan far enough back you might wonder if the Rager the Rabbit "HOTIE!!" was modeled after her?

PM sent

End of Message

Why a PM? the purpose of TER is to help hobbiests avoid problems.

I agree.....Why not tell us who blew you off.......

Thanks for your honesty. You just saved me and others from treated poorly. Providers check on us and in cases like these we need to stand together. It is a two way street.

Thanks, I took her off of my "to do" list.

She was associated with an agency until very recently and may still be getting used to handling her own schedule. Just a possibility anyway.
