I enjoyed that series...the very definition of Disfunctional Family!!
But I found the final episode really LAME. Was very disappointing. For 5 seasons, none of those people could get along...then all of a sudden, they are best friends. Just didn't wash. Claire, crying in her Mom's arms, saying she'd stay and take care of her...I almost lost my lunch. My ATF redhead on TV turned totally out of character!!
I anticipated that final episode all week. When it was done, I wish I had gone to bed.
They should have ended it with the toast to Nate. That was believable...everyone caught up in the moment. Then they could all go back to being the regular assholes they always were.
(And you can't tell me the actor playing David isn't really gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that!)
Marce1 Waiting for more Deadwood and the return of the Sopranos!
Could never seem to get into that series but looks like a good new series is coming out called "Rome". By the title you can pretty much guess where it takes place. Looking forward to some good Roman debauchery HBO style
I'm waiting for "Rome" also, already have the DVR setup for it. A few series favs if you haven't already seem them are Showtime's "Weeds", and "Dead like Me" also HBO's "Deadwood"
That was one of the best endings to a series of all time. The show when Nate died was also good, I cried uncontrollably on both episodes. What a powerful show.
If you haven't seen it, you'll really should watch for the reruns it truly is a fantastic show. The shows creator is Alan Ball who did American Beauty with Kevin Spacey...won 5 acadmey awards
I love this show, but don't tell me what happens!!! Lol what I like to do is wait until HBO has played the whole season and then I go get it when it comes out on DVD. This is my idea of the best soap opera ever this show has so many twists. If you like this show check out dead like me it is just as good if not better!!
