I get nervous every time I see someone, whether that be a new friend or an old one but it's more of an excitement than anything. I think its healthy since its a reflection of my desire for things to go beyond what they expected. I have had the honor of meeting the most amazing gentlemen and I genuinely enjoy every minute.

Do any of you still get pretty nervous or anxious before a session? I have been hobbying for quite some time, and is not new to this at all. But, more often then not I still get nervous or anxious before a date. Not that it's a problem for me. Unless I am super anticipating the date, I calm down when the date actually starts and the ladies are awesome at making things feel comfortable. I guess I should say more excited than anything. Just a though and for the sake of discussion. Have a good weekend everyone :)

from a providers view {mine  Only} I rarely get nervous  in a  "what's going to go wrong way "  Clients often think we are the ones that should be frightened especially when we entertain  in our  own homes or incalls  but the truth is  I find  I am very relaxed  before a date  more excited to meet a new client  but even more happy when it is a repeat because then you know  what to expect

Haha. When I say nervous or excited, I don't mean afraid of what's going to go wrong, is it a bait/switch, or trap of some sort. When I say nervous or excited I mean it in a positive way. More like looking forward to it so much that you get anxious or can't wait for what is in stored.

I believe that's part of the excitement of seeing a lady. Getting anxious or excited about what's going to happen, what type of atmosphere the place is, are you going to hit if off...ext? I think it's a rush.

or the escort has a one or two reviews. If those reviews are by veteran hobbyist than my level of nervous is little to none, but if the reviewers are newbs, than I'm nervous.

I guess your view of nervous in this case it is that things might go wrong or the date will not turn out as expected based on your research. I think almost anyone would be nervous in that case.

I have not toftt yet...I am too suspicious to take risks beyond my comfort level.

Awe, OneK! Thank you...you are such a sweetheart! :)

.... I guess it's similair for both sides of the envelope...i have meh maybe 19 months (not long to some but enough to call myself slightly experienced I think lol) under my skirt lol and I get nervous but it's missed with excitement & hopefulness every time  even on dates with someone I've seen a dozen times before.

I've been doing this for about 4 years now and I still get nervous on a first meet.  Now not nearly as nervous as I use to before I found places like this to do some research.  Back when I began like I assume a number of beginners going in blind with someone from Craigslist or Backpage having no Idea what to expect I was scared shitless at times.  Only once in those days did I just completely Bail on seeing someone.  I happened to get her apartment complex a couple days in advance of our scheduled meeting so the night before I think I will drive by so I know where I am going tomorrow... I get there and its gated but that's fine I found it.. I turn the corner and see someone leaving a different gate in the back so I drive on in to go through the complex and in the back entrance where I come in is three cop cars and a cops van with the back doors open and two of them are doing something in the back of this van.  My mind began to just race with all the worst scenarios and it scared the crap out of me.  I went home emailed this person back saying I was sorry but I wouldn't be able to make it over for our date maybe I will rescheduled another time. I didn't attempt to see anyone for 3 months well until I found the lovely world of TER review and I felt more confident in my safety of meeting someone new.  Now those I meet that I really like I make a second visit without all the nerves and the second visits are always Better. I will still TOFTT now and then but I have to feel in my gut this is safe.

You know the anticipation of the unexpected with someone new and that hint or danger is part of what makes this fun.  I assume others feel the same. I lived a wild childhood followed buy a Daughter being born when I was young and a reality check I needed to mature young. I need to let that side of me I bottled up early out now and then.  This is one of the ways I do that.
