The guys who post these ranting arguments apparently believe that we all care what they have to say (or else they would just PM each other, right?)  I have a modest proposition:

STOP READING THEIR POSTS

In case you're wondering, egotists love seeing how many "reads" their posts get.  Obviously Dingus doesn't want to throttle this nonsense, but we as a community can remove the reward from the equation by NEVER reading posts by the offending individuals.

In essence, this is a very old-fashioned form of community response to unacceptable behavior, called shunning.  See the link below.  It's usually practiced by religious groups, but I see no reason why we can't cyber-shun anti-social offenders here.

If anybody has a better suggestion, make it.  Otherwise, stop reading their posts.

and I'm far from an egotist. This is some kind of misguided personal vendetta....not Siskle & Ebert. You seem to want to make this a two sided issue when its really not....

Don't like it? Don't read it!  There are so many good books out there.

As far as I am concerned they have almost ruined the board.  If anyone dares, please post the user names not to read.  If not please pm them to me. I don't follow it enough to instantly recognize if the posts are from the nuts or the good guys.
