Unfortunately, there is not a lot of great stuff right by the airport. That being said, there are a number of nice hotels in the Tempe/ASU area that are convenient to the airport and, more importantly, offer transportation to and from the airport. We don't have any specific recommendations for you, but have looked into this for clients in the past. Tempe has a great vibe and is very convenient. I am visiting in September and was looking for a hotel recommendation. I won’t be renting a car so I prefer a hotel near the airport. or nearish. I plan on seeing someone at my hotel so I am looking for something nice and clean but isn’t a $500 resort type place. I tried to look thru yelp reviews but I cannot ever ascertain much from those (reviews are all over the place). I appreciate any feedback on a hotel, thanks.
