It had to do with the former Scottsdale mayor catching her husband with an escort.  OOPSIE!!  That got her on the war path.  Then you have Mesa/Gilbert, with the morals police running rampant due to religious factors.  A while back, there was a Mad Wives group in Gilbert wanting MP's shut down because their husbands were going there for "relief".   Mesa ran into a similar situation, and LE told them they wouldn't be doing undercover work due to lack of financial resources, unless they want to raise taxes to pay for such nonsense.  Shut their mouths up.

And it seems like I've heard this before.  

If we all check reviews and references, is it pretty risk free?

 
I'm just wondering if anyone has any extra info that might be helpful.

Hi Freya:

If you check referances you should be fine.  LE activity was very high here when we had the Super Bowl.

The only time I've heard of an issue is when someone get's a new number that had been used before.  So, it sounds like you'll be ok.

 Has anyone heard of an email address or phone number getting someone in trouble?  One time I was refused a room in San Diego because my phone number was associated with an ad.  I don't have a separate phone and it's never been an issue at nicer hotels.

Like the others mentioned, check references thoroughly, but do not just rely on those, do your own verification also and you will be find.  

Unfortunately,no matter how good you screen,nothing is ever Risk Free in this business.

Attend Phoenix m&g's; that is one way to figure out who is 'safe'.  

As to proper verification of a gent., aside from the usual verification methods, and referral checks, there isn't much else that could be done.  (a random timed Skype verification?)
