I know this is not the place for such a question but cant find any info anywhere. I got popped for a DUI in Tempe last night. I was taken to a sub-station off University. As I was being escorted through the parking lot some asshole with a camera jumped in my face and snapped a pic. He was doing it to everyone that was brought in. The officer told me not to worry about it. I was wondering if my face is being posted on some website. They didnt take a mugshot and I got to call for a ride home. Anyone have any ideal who this is or what was going on?

Because you were in a public place, the First Amendment permits him to do what he did, and there's a chance he'll try to publish it on a website such as Thedirty.com, a site that specializes in humiliating people with picture of their worst moments in life.  (There are others if you search for them.)  If you don't socialize with people who would view that site, you probably don't need to worry.

The cops have a speed trap outside a popular night spot named Maloney's, Rural and University. They watch you drive off, they follow you.  Near Mclintock, they stop you. The dude asks where are you going then where were you at?  I told him Maloney's.  Then he says did you have anything to drink.  I said no.  Then he asks to see my license, insurance and registration.  Then he asks me to do a few tests. I did and passed cleanly.  I knew about the trap.  I had nothing to drink at Maloney's that night other than orange juice.  But how many unfortunate people fall into the trap. So much crime going on in this valley and they're worried if a working stiff had a few margaritas.

when you are booked into MCSO after you are found guilty and have to do 10 days in joes, your pic will be posted on the MCSO site, but that is after you are found guilty and all that and then locked up for 10 days. I suggest doing the time during the week, cause the weekends get packed. Just gave my friend a ride over the past 2 weeks for his work furlough, 10 nights. he went in on a friday and I saw the line to the intake when i dropped him off on Friday, it was packed.

228 people arrested in Ariz. drunken-driving task force

An Arizona task force targeting drunken drivers has arrested 228 people so far.

The Labor Day DUI task force, which began Aug. 15, lasts more than two weeks and ends on Labor Day, Sept. 1.

On Saturday night alone, 58 people were arrested for drunken driving.

Officers from 69 agencies are participating in the task force.

The average blood-alcohol content of the 228 people arrested by the task force so far was 0.15 percent, double Arizona's 0.08 limit.

Among those arrested were 46 minors.
