I'm new to this hobby and I'm anxious to see a specific provider with only a few references. I'm trying to be disciplined and stick to providers with pages of references, however this provider is with an agency that has great reviews for all of its other providers. Maybe she's new? Any advice on this dilemma?
speak with the owner of the agency.....they have a reputation to uphold and I am sure (at least in Phoenix), the agency owners I have met (and that's all of them I think) are stand up gals and guys who will make it right.
(Like the provider who showed up without condoms, two hours late and left after 30 minutes), who soon left the business (by the way, the one I am talking about had dozens of good reviews and is long gone)....The agency owner was appaled and promises to make it right.
This statement is not true for all areas, but in the Phoenix area, I see no down side.
you will be glad you did, AND the provider you are wondering about will be glad that you are going to help to add to her review roster. Not only are reviews elemental to our business, a review will also help you, as the consumer, to build trust with both agencies AND independents!
Most of the agencies screen and that's good. And . . . I'm sure if you had a really bad experience, they would make up for it, just like an good independent would if she's new to the business. I have had good luck with Jack giving me references on someone. We all need to protect ourselves, and I believe the agencies wouldn't send out someone they're unsure of, or at least inexperienced.
Just ask the right questions about the lady who you are interested in. Be specific in what you like and what she provides.
