Do all things rise in Fall/Winter?sad_smile

This is a question primarily for the locals, but providers should feel free to chime in as well.  Now that Summer has come to a close, I am already seeing hotel rates starting to rise to their normal Fall/Winter levels of double the Summer rate.

My question is that if hotel rates go through the roof during the busy season, what about our favorite ladies?  Does demand for their services also rise and if so, do their rates go up?

My personal ATF is worth every penny, but she is already difficult to schedule due to high demand.  Do I have to start thinking of her as an airline with three weeks notice and a Saturday night stayover?  Or is it time to start looking at some alternatives?

Thanks!

Yes demand for services rise and if her fee's go up, simply find another atf that knows the value of Local/Regular year round clients. The smart ladies know how to take care of you even when their busy. Some ladies think: Im not going to azpurev for $ when im sure ill get a $$$ today sooner or later. Now during a special event week ie: Feista Bowl, Phoenix Open, NASCAR, etc. I could understand being put on the back burner for the spending tourists but you can always try. Just remember the providers who were good to you during the winter and thank them on the board and NEVER, NEVER forget the ones who dumped you during the good times because summers a bitch out here and also thank them for nothing on the board. This should be a banner year for the ladies, conventions in Florida have and will continue to be cancelled and rebooked in Az. HAPPY TOURIST TIME everyone and dont forget the locals.

I totally agree with Danordanny assessment of the cyclical market for provider services. and the more business savy providers understand the need to keep the local hobbiest in mind year round as they provide a stable financial foundation.

I'm not sure I'd classify myself as a "business-saavy" provider, however I would classify myself as an appreciative provider who knows the value of a great local client.

Now, this being my first year in Phoenix, I'm not sure how the cycles work but I can guarantee that if you're one of my regular pals, you'll always, always, ALWAYS take precedence over anyone else because we've established a friendship with one another of respect and concern. Now, I know some are rolling their eyes thinking, "Oh it's not possible to be friends with a client/provider" but I beg to differ. I share a piece of myself with each and every one of you and you share a piece of yourselves with me. Beyond the obvious relationship, we're feeling, caring human beings and there is more to the time we spend in eachother's company than the obvious.

So, that said, should tourist season render me extraordinarily busy, fear not if you're a regular friend of mine. I will always be there for you first. If we're attributing business politics to something like this, consider THAT my good customer service and client loyalty promise to you. Consider it my way of expressing to you the knowledge that you, as individuals, are the ones who take care of me and give me the opportunity to do the things in life I need/want to do. I never forget my regulars and I never will.

Love,

Megan

I can understand where purveyor is coming from, however, I know myself and most ladies will allow our regular friends, whom we know and trust over any new person trying to schedule.  Yes, season makes all of us busy, but in business, if you bite the hand that feeds you, it may not be there to feed you next time.  Kind of a funny way of putting it, but yes, I feel the regulars should get priority over someone new.  However, if you are calling at the last minute to schedule with your atf, that may be why....if she is already booked, and can't just cancel on someone, then that may be why she is not available...just like she would not cancel on you last minute.
As for the rates, I think many of the ladies stay the same, I know I have dropped mine recently, to see if the busy season is coming yet, but even with rate changes, the business stays about the same.
If all else fails, just ask her what she thinks.  Can't hurt???

Good luck,
Kisses,
Madison

Echo the last two threads.  There are many local providers and agencies that appreciate the locals and the stability they provide when season is over.  Like Danny said, just remember them on the boards and give them their due support as they support us.

Our rates don't change for our regular customers or our local guys.  For out of town people that don't book regularly, they usually pay the full fee, but the tips for the girsl are usually the same.  However, many of my out of town customers book multiple hours or multiple days in a row and receive discount because of that. I am friendly to EVERYONE!!
