I have been on chapter 1 of "computers for dummies" for several months.  I am very much interested in learning how to navigate around this board.  I have been semi-retired for 4 months and tend to have extra time on my hands.  I purchased this computer so I could keep in contact with family members via email.  I must admit though, this board baffles me.

I want to read reviews in full. I would also like to put up two reviews from two lovely ladies I have seen.  

I hope it is not inappropriate to contact you on the board like this.  If so, I do apologize.

Look to the left of the TER page (while reading this). That board is a good starting point for asking fundamental questions about using TER etc.

The word Newbie isn't really derogatory, btw, - most people go thru similar phases... (some of us perpetually remain in that phase :-)

As for posting your question on this board? To tell you the truth - your post is one of the more sane ones over the last couple of days! lol

Thank you Thor18.  I would like to get to know many of you.  I am amazed at what a tight little family you can be at times.  That is when I would like to jump in and be part of the conversation.  I tried last night and for the first time, I did not start a new thread when I dropped a few words.  I also have to admit that there are times I want to hide under my bed when there is a true battle raging.

My occupation required me to be very objective.  There are always at least two sides to each story.  I also learned that as the story is past to one another the tale gets taller.  There are three things we all learned before we ever start our social adventure into elementary school - 1. don't lie or stretch the truth (they are the same). 2. be kind to your neighbors and 3. never do or say things that may hurt anothers feelings.

I would very much like to participate from time to time.  This board can also give you a calming feeling and a sense of friendship.

Thank you for letting me ramble, it was a good feeling. - desertwater22
