don't really heat up until September.   If the Phillies can get some pitching, they may again be contenders.  Thanks for thinking of them.  

Not looking like a highlight season for the D-Backs unfortunately.

Rachel Alexandra is the first Filly to win the race in the last 85 years.

Calvin Borel who rode Mine That Bird to a win in the Kentucky Derby switch rides and beat his Bird by a nose.

Oh well maybe I’d have some money today if he stayed in the Bird.

Boy I tell you that Mind the Bird horse started in last place for races of course kicked ass in the the KD but it the track would have been just a little bit longer he'd would won again.

I just wished I would have bet him to win on the KD it went off 50 to 1....I'm a long shot wagerer anyway and always look at the 5-8 numbers

But it was a good race Saturday Rachael Alexandra never looked back, she was going to show up those studs.
