Dealing with some unexpected personal issues

Hey everyone....

I very unexpectedly found out that my boyfriend has cancer and had to accompany him for pretty aggressive throat surgery.  I am doing my best to maintain my schedule and my reputation but have had to move or cancel more appointments than usual as he needs my help during this first week after surgery.  Please understand that this all came about in the span of a week and I am both coming to terms with it emotionally as well as fumbling a bit managing my schedule as his needs are changing day to day.

Please keep me and him in your prayers. Cancer is no fun. FUCK CANCER!

xoxo

Madison, We haven't met nor do I know your boyfriend but I wish him rapid recovery from a successful surgery. and defeats th. cancer. Don't forget to take care of yourself too. I'll second the motion to Fuck Cancer.

Madison,

Dorry to hear about your boyfriend's condition.  Wishing him a speedy recovery and good health.

If he smokes, please make sure that he does not do that ever again.

Take care

I lost a loved one to cancer.  It's a bitch.  Hang in there and focus on what's important.

While we've never met before, we should stick together and take care of each other.
Positive energy and prayers to you and him.  While you are doing what you can for him, be sure and not to let yourself get into a funk.  My sister in law does oncology massage therapy at one of the local hospitals, so check that option out where he's getting treatment.  I bet they can also accommodate you as well.
Best of luck to him and you.

Thank you everyone for the positive energy being sent my way.  He sees me as a "healer" of sorts and was damn near pushing me out the door to get back to work! Also...he knows I get rather crabby (borderline bitchy) when I haven't had enough activity so he was very supportive in my getting back to work.  I am here in AZ through the 9th before my next tour...so please help a lady out with the backlog of *tension* I am suffering from!

So sorry to hear about the Cancer, you guys are in my thoughts

We really hope the surgery did it's job and has a speedy recovery so both of you can get back to something normal.

xoxo

Best wishes and prayers.
You have handled it very professionally
