Yes I watched......was that really Sarah...I never met her before. Didn't seem like the bubbly person I thought she would be. Show was slanted to the darker side of agency and pimp based escorting. Was it a fair look at your world?
The girl looks sooo farmiliar and it is called.... Sex for sale, american ascorts. It looks kind of exaggerated but it is really not quite accurate. weird!

I thought it was a horrible production and representation of the world "I" live in. We all have different lives and paths and Non of that was shown. For me, by day School, family, business owner -by night... What ever I want. I iam free to decide , that is the beauty of it.
That was Sarah,But I didnt get the vibe from whom I thought she was off the show.. wierd ! Off her screen persona I would of gathered a vibrant, happy, wildly spoken yet educated lady.
Of course a show doesnt want to be fair and show the other side of the world. All those good girls would be leaving there small towns and churches and being "bad.
You are lucky if it was totally "weird"... cause you need to look no further than the competing "review board" here in the valley and the "agency" they used to run... or of course the infamous DD that got busted to find all sorts of examples of completely troubled women getting totally taken advantage of and bullied into providing services they probably didn't REALLY want to provide.
Just sayin.
I recognized the girl with the short blonde hair that is now a religious freak. dont know about sarah.
She has her own show where she "saves women" from this lifestyle.
and honestly no I do not find this an accurate portrayal of escorting at all. I feel like it was more of the pimp-based, street walking. Street walking is street walking whether you are on Van Buren or on the Strip walking from Casino to Casino.
There is a stereotype of providers and clients which the vast majority do not fall into. Personally I take this as a personal choice and will only deal with honest straight forward providers. For those of you who will surf AD's on CL or BP and try to hook up with those who advertising that they are in the biz just for a quick buck to pay a bill or to get by at the moment I really don't agree with and would not want to depict or take advantage of someone who is down on their luck. Furthermore if one was to notice a lot of the providers who claim to be down on their luck advertise that routinely and has to make one really wonder why do they keep falling into the same situation month after month or what is their scam. Some of the reviews I've read of men going to locations where it's filthy, switch & bait AD's, upsells etc. One word to the wise, If you are dealing with a provider for the 1st time and something goes south do the wise thing, don't follow through and cancel the appt before you have to write that 1 or 2 review. #2 I would never deal with an agency knowingly. I prefer to work the details out with the actual person providing the service as there is no confusion what so ever. Any one complaining about being a provider I really don't want to see either as I want to feel I had a very passionate fulfilling time versus that I just used someone that was down on their luck and they will be mentally scared for getting involved with something they did out of desperation. In that case I'd rather take collateral and loan the person the $$.
To close each hobbyist and provider are here for the own reasons and since their is plenty of both all have fun, use your heads, have a great time and hopefully we all prosper in our own way.
Agreed
In case you missed it, there are several posts of full program on YouTube

The blonde with the short hair and glasses is Amanda Brooks, author of "The Internet Escorts' Handbook". She was pretty displeased with this program's portrayal of escorting, as detailed on her blog.
The woman with the church and awful reality show is Annie Lobart and she is truly an insufferable b*tch.
I would be hesitant to provide insight to any tv or news documentary because they always seem to want to illustrate the business in their own sleazy way. I've met Sarah and Amanda and they were both portrayed less than stellar. Annie Lobert (the churchie) is a bit of a nut. The best mainstream portrayal I've seen to date was Nikki Avalon's interview in Playboy. I sound like a huge name dropper!

Pretty much the real deal. Sure there was some stuff portrayed that some here have never experienced... but even here on TER there is plenty of sleazy stuff... in fact often the "glamour" imagined turns out to be someone "troubled" in some way... even drop dead gorgous girls and successful guyz.
Just sayin
