Oh, Sharpy, that is such vulgar language to use about a great and talented show bizz personality—though I admit she can be temperamental and politically high strung at times.
Sharpy, darling, you seem to be in such a snit. Why so angry? Are you jealous because you find it difficult to relate to an incredibly hard-working, dynamic and caring personality?
Ms. Streisand is smart and tough and honest. She gets the job done.
She is very talented. Babs is a person who made it on her own drive, ambition and fortitude. No pills. No drugs. She is truly a great American, and citizen of the world. She is a woman we can be proud of and try to emulate. (Did anybody see her on Oprah?)
One time, many years ago, the Sheika was in a wedding where the bride wore that very elegant dress Babs wore in “A Star is Born”. The huge train was cut way, way down to make it manageable in the small, ornate, Catholic church where the ceremony was held. The person who organized the wedding and did the decorations was the uncle of the bride. He was the very gifted and sensitive man who did the costumes and some of the set design for “A Star is Born”. (I could give you his name, but then Dingus probably wouldn’t allow this post.) His initials were N.M...Anyway
This uncle was a rather likable chap. Very professional, with a great color sense, and very, very, tall, slim and attractive. He was a real hunk, who was in tremendous shape, but unfortunately he was quite gay, but such is show-bizz. Sometimes a person just has to do what a person has to do to get by-the ladies know what I'm talking about… But what was really attractive about the man was this: for those days, he was very forth coming about his sexuality; which I find intriguing. Don’t you, Sharpy? He wasn’t trying to hide a thing. He was honest about who and what he was. He was a better man than a lot of straight guys I know. (Again,I’m sure most of the ladies know exactly what I’m talking about).
Oh, and Moby, darling, if Babs, did take over the world, things couldn’t be much worse than they are now. For the most part, the Sheika thinks we are on the long slippery slope to decadence and depravity. It’s the war and it’s the economy. Maybe what this world needs is a Ladies touch. Some of us have begrudgingly ***ked a lot of ugly guys. We do it just to survive, that's what makes us strong.
