Yes, I injured myself on my doggy gate.  I might need some crutches to get around.  If I'm in too much pain I might not make it to the party

a kind friend of mine offered to bring some to the party but he wasn't 100% certain he would be at the party.  If it isn't a big bother to you I would love those crutches!  I don't think I will be able to stand much.  My ankle is swollen up pretty good. It's a good thing I have the job that I do where I'm not on my feet much.  It is tough trying to carry my baby around, though.

two suggestions..
1) find a strong man dressed as a firefighter.  I'm sure he'd volunteer the "Fireman carry", and have great fun carrying you around at night..

2) find a man (or woman!) costumed as a massage therapist..see how good he/she is at massage.
