I'm amazed that I already had 4 private inquiries into the "barbara walters" thread here on the BBS. I have no clue what motive anyone has to maliciously "trash" one of the best indie communities in the nation but I for one think its time to call BS. For someone to post what is basically a broadbrushed slander and a second to folloe up with some drivel about a "confirming" private post is pure trash. Especially considering that the "site" in question is easily the single best "provider mall" in the nation in both the integrity of the owner and the quality of the gals listed.

Although there are a number of other public sites there are also a number of "private lists" that also have "provider boards". If any of those lists are publishing a "private" posting then I think that they need to copy that posting here so any providers who have been maligned have a fair and honest chance for rebuttal.

Whatever any of you think about my own stances and opinions I will remind you they have always been openly posted to a public forum under my "own" handle so those involved (and other community members) can address my comments as they see fit.

I have had the pleasure of spending time with numerous gals currently on phoenix411 and never had an experience similiar to the "pforce" posting.....personally I think whatever BS is going on needs to be squashed now.....

A single post of the hit and run genre from an unknown source must be taken with that grain of salt. With no follow up information and with details that seem to contradict so many  good times shared with the ladies of  Phx it makes one question validity. Per  3xcharm 0 for 6 seems unlikely.  He may  be the most unlucky man in the world, or it may be all hype and hidden agenda,  or there may have been something that tripped the ladies  radar and they followed their instincts. (ladies  keep following those instincts they are there for a reason)  We many never know but I do know the ladies of this town are fine and have treated me well. Thanks  Hacker for adding some perspecitve and thank you ladies.

or the one from "Barbara Walters"....its the grains of truth in the "unknown" post ( I haven't read it BTW). Back when the gals were dealing with a bunch of very real threats there was a plan for a "watchlist" database and site (similiar to the national one posted elsewhere here). The person "selling" this idea....none other then Dave of "Dave's List". It was percieved by many (correctly I feel) as just another way to get something for nothing from the gals and never took off....although the gals do have a couple of "back channel" groups just like the guys do.

Personally I'm concerned that the "back channel pimps" {those who want to swap "real 411" for money or freebies} have a vested interest in maligning both the public sites like this and the gals who wont deal with their BS....

But the reason I questioned the newsletter and mentioned the "pforce" post was to see if anyone felt they maybe in some realted.  That post was very odd to say the least... was it just a way of gathering info and IP's as stated in the newsletter??????

I had multiple emails asking me what I knew about this "private" posting. It had nothing to do specifically with the "pforce" post.
