I trip and stumble,
let out a mumble,
try not to bumble,
bumble right on my ass.

My arms flail,
I try not to wail,
to fall is to fail,
fail right on my ass.

My left foot did slip,
I’m on a one way trip,
destination a firm grip,
grip on the ground with my ass.

Not sure, but if we ever have a provider community poetry slam, he/she will win.  I feel like putting on a beret, smoking a filterless cigarette and snapping my fingers instead of clapping.  Far out, man!

Just thoughts I had before I hit the ground after stepping in a rut on my morning run.  Just lucky I was going downhill and landed on my butt and not my face.

Under the influence?  Me?  Nope, never have been.
