Thanks captain obvious!! TER is a great tool but it does lack the quick visual search that other sites offer and being a guy I'm more tuned into the visual. It's easier to shop on another site and use TER for final verification. Thats what I pay my money for.

Similar aliases, or worse, derivative aliases, or even worse, insult-handle aliases SUCK.

I should know! When I first started posting, Smarty1011 began posting insult replies to me a HalfWitt. I guess he thought I couldn't figure out who he was.

So on one of his insult posts, I replied and said something like "Listen Smarty1011, give me a break!" Guess what happened? I was MODERATED for outing an alias! LMFAO! Unbelievable!

It got straighted out by Admin, and I was able to post. I've had sooooooo many "HALFxxxxx" alias created to actually hassle me. But it's all OK with TER admin. All-in-all I just hang in there and weather through the cowards and miscreants; after all this is just a discussion board.

But I hear ya!  

The best thing you can do is where ever you see an alias that looks too similar is just post a reply saying "THIS ISN'T My ALIAS. [eom]" your handle will be there and eveyone will know.

People will see and know because you can't post on a thread under two alias or handles.
