You nailed it! You said:

Personally if the gals not proactively protecting herself then she's not protecting me either.

Here here! And this is why I don't keep records and I don't have an address book and I don't keep emails, etc. etc. Because if for some reason I go down, I will NOT be taking anyone with me. So, three cheers for you for understanding, as a client, that screening is done for the safety of both parties. It's just easier for you fellas to screen us.

Its a shame...some people just will never learn to pay taxes and stop leaving all that money just lying around....
Will they ever learn???
Ladies, be safe...not just for the obvious reasons, but your safety is ALWAYS more important than any amount of money!!!

Be safe, check your references, know who you are seeing, and ALWAYS trust your instincts!!  God gave us such wonderful and trusting womens intuition, always use it!  That is the one thing that will never fail you!

Be safe everyone....and have a great weekend!!

That records including credit card information and reference checks are part of the seizure. This once again supports my assurtion that allowing reference checks is STUPID!!! Pay with cash and remain anonymous unless you want a knock at yoru door.

Coyote, where do you find providers who will see you without knowing who you are?  That's crazy!  Have you any concern for the safety of these ladies?

For that matter, I didn't see anything in the story that substantiated your assertion that reference check records were seized.  Credit cards are a different matter, but my advice is that the girls should never see a guy without a reference check.  That doesn't mean they have to store the information...everything except his handle can be deleted once safety has been established.  See my previous post and link to the Legal Corner.

A "reference check" is NOT an indication or admission of criminal activity or intent. In the highly unlikely event that you were ever contacted as a "person of interest" a simple "I have no clue what your talking about" will suffice.

Now if you've paid via CC {dumb under ANY circumstances} then you are legitimately a "person of interest".

IMO you are putting yourself at risk since you are much more likely to get nabbed in a sting...since LE isnt worried about references are they?

Personally if the gals not proactively protecting herself then she's not protecting me either.

What would happen if LE uses a hobbyist, who has made a deal, to use his references.  The hobbyist provides his name, phone number and any other information to LE who than pretends to be that person.  LE gets the OK and an appointment.  LE shows up, leaves the donation in an envelope or not, and she gets arrested.  Why was the money left there?  The jury will convict.  We need to see what other ways we can check references.

Megan, your computer will still have traces of emails, phone numbers, names, and any other thing on the hard-drive.  Unless you completely erase it with a soft-ware, traces will still remain.  That's why, it is recommended that when you sell your computer, you change your hard-drive.

Megan, I admire you for your integrity. What happens if LE takes your child and uses he/she as a leverage for information. LE is not really interested in hobbyist, but other providers: their actual name, incall location, etc. They probably already know your website and of others and have read all of the reviews. Convince me that when all this information is presented in court that you will walk away without a conviction. The jury will make the connection and convict. But LE will give you a break, a walk, if you give them information. In return, your child gets returned and you walk. Do you still think you will keep your mouth shut and not give up anyone? I am either naive or you truly will "take one for the team."  This community will honor you for not saying anything.
