I have an appointment with a provider tomorrow and she told me she is going to whitelist me, so I joked and said is there a blacklist and she said yes.  She said you don't want to be on that list it's not a good list.  LOL

So this is my questions why are all things that are black so bad or negative? #Justathought (blacksheep, blacklist, blackcloud, blackcat)

So we were trying to figure out what's not negative that's black? And came up with one? Being in the black financially.  LOL  

Can you tell me some positive terms that are black?

It's historical... black = darkness, white = like and the related metaphors

Black tie = most fashionable
Black Friday = best sale prices
Black Card = financially elite credit
Black Belt = highest rank

When my stock portfolio or business investments are in the "black" rather than in the "red".....I am very pleased by this good news. I sure hope I am now not opening a can of worms for the word "red". And don't forget that in Midwest, when you experience a "white-out" from a winter storm....it is the most dangerous thing there is. Of course, these are all just words.....
