(If you're too young to remember that Dan Akroyd line from SNL, just don't take it seriously.)
I've not accused you of "bashing", so your link is meaningless. Honesttoafault is much cattier and mean-spirited (IMHO) that you, but you are sometimes catty yourself. All one has to do is search for all messages posted under your alias, and one sees that you are a provider who often writes about other providers' ads (as well as mix it up with some of the good 'ol boys).
I don't propose to tell you how to post. I'm asking whether or not you will post as you have in the past, if there's a possibility that your true identity will be revealed post-posting. Well, will you?
using an alias, the moderator changes the username back to the author's screen name....it is most frequently used when one lady is bashing another.....or when an agency is shilling for their own girl - or ragging on a visiting girl.....I'm not a fan of this type of outing....however several of you have gotten a bit cattie (is that a word) with some of your alias attacks.....be careful what you ask for, you might get it.

Sounds like a good idea to me..They should be outed!Might end the bashing for once and for all.
that outting aliases that post to be cruel, unkind, bash, stir trouble, ect. was a good idea.
TER allows for the use of an alias, and though I don't necessarily agree with it, I can see their reasoning...but since all of the boards have the rules at the top of the page stating posts are not to be mean or for trouble's sake, I never knew why posts of that nature were allowed if done under an alias.
Seems to me if someone wishes to break the rules in an act of cowardice, ie with an alias, then let them get credit for their post. Let them be seen for who and what they are...removing the offending post is an option...but it will have already been read by some, and whatever accusations or ill will was intended will have been done...so rather than hide it...put a registered user name to it. Let everyone know who made the post so that they can better decide the merits of the post, and the merits of the poster.
But that's just me.
all too often feelings can get hurt along with well reviewed providers buisness being affected..discussion boards should realy not be this way..IMHO..we have all seen many ladies and gents leave becuase of this..alias should not be allowed to post hurtful posts.period...kinda like that chickenshit boyfriend/girlfriend that keys your car..just punch me in the mouth..at least i know where it came from..no alias's here..check my membership d15
you will only have to use it once or twice, I bet!
What's taken so long to implement it? I hope it's your rule now, too! How can anyone who wants honesty and truth disagree with this idea?
hobby board (not TER) I've seen this from both sides of the fence. I have to agree its a great idea. Ive watched great hobbyist's and wonderful providers leave a board and never return because of aliases being used to take cheap shots at them.
so I agree . It's a great idea implement it
why alow alias use at all? What purpose does it serve? I know that there are more than a few people - hobbyists and providers alike - who have more than one alias. Why? If you feel strongly enough about a subject and have something to say - don't be a coward and hide behind an alias. Have the testicular fortitude to identify yourself!
Dingus, I'm sure that it'd cut down on the amount of moderating that you have to do!
for using an alias. One is humor. Second is if you have some legit info for the community but it would be awkward or embarrassing coming from you. For example, what if you'd like to give some frank feedback in the forum about timeliness issues with a lady you see regularly, and want to keep doing so? There are sometimes good reasons.
This is a perfect example of what I was mentioning .... why would you need an alias to write the reply you did? It wasn't a bash, just a expression of your opinion. And like I originally said ... if you feel strongly enough about something to write about it in a public forum, be strong enough to not have to hide behind an alias.
You (whomever you are) mentioned humorous postings - why would that be something to hide from? If you have a timeliness issue with a favorite provider, why not discuss it with her instead of throwing an anonymous barb in public and possibly affecting her livelihood? It may annoy you, but if you continue to see her, she must be worth it.
I stand behind my original posting of opinion ... I think that the use of aliases detracts from the validity of what is posted on this board ... good or bad.
i agree /sign
but it might be more diplomatic to just remove these kinds of posts and moderate the offender......
my 3 cents,
--p#3
Cat got your tongues? PLEASE tell us what you think of this rule.
of which you all do...I am not the only one using aliases nor will I be the last.
If and when TER changes the rules I as well as the other will stop....
The comment that Tina Pink said below about Baba WA WA had nothing to do with me BASHING anyone only that someone feels the need to send her email....I just think that sounds odd!
So Post away!!!!
I see no envelope? Just wondering! but are you counting that as being mean? really do want to know...I took it as a honest question! Thank you!
Also for all of you here: what about those that (as mentioned above)
or when an agency is shilling for their own girl
What about these posts?????
Back to the matter at hand, the links are a search for the two posters everyone seems to having a problem with.
here is a link to honesttoafault's post...lots of unkind!!!!!

http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/searchMessagesResults.asp?FromPost=1&MessageID=&BoardID=5&SortBy=DateCreated+desc&Search=&SearchType=1&Author=barbara+walters&DayFrom=300&DayTo=0&submit.x=31&submit.y=18
For those of you that don't know your board you can take your feet out of your mouth or your head out of your ass?????? OOOOOPS! was that mean? or just honest? Not meant to be mean but don't go accusing!!!!!!
Blueiceman....I just read your post regarding your being moderated for posting on the la board, I got a kick out of you wanting to know where Barbara Walters was for info? the post should be on the link....
Thank you!!!!

Your history of posting includes regularly complaining publicly about other providers' ads. Why not do so under your real name? If you are really just being helpful, PM the lady. If you think it's a rules violation, PM Dingus. The way you and others do it,IMO, is catty.
get your facts straight, bub I don't need you to tell me how to post as I don't you!
thanks for your OPINION!!!!

Identify yourself and allow the truth to come out.If not your comments are meaningless.
Even though it is not an alias. Are you willing to admit who you are - and ALL of your other names too? And admit why you only have one review??? Are YOU going to be honest to a fault??
Many, many hobbyists and providers know me by name and handle. (They, of course, are willing to identify themselves to me, as well.) They also know that I gave up reviews (but NOT seeing providers) out of frustration with the TER system. (You can find that fact documented in past posts, as well.)
So come to Rose's retirement party and introduce yourself as honesttoafault. I'll be the funny-looking guy hanging out either near the bar or near the guest of honor.
If that doesn't narrow it down enough, ask Jack or Rose or Mya or Glen or Sara or Jasmine or Gina or Modprod or Juliana or BlueIceman or Mona Lisa or Thor or Victoria or Jeffe or Vanessa Evans or Lana or Eden or Monique or Bonnie Parker or any of a number of other providers and hobbyists who know me, and I assume they'll be glad to point me out to you. (To those I left out, I apologize.)

Do it. It is high time this is settled once and for all!
post of the year. The non-advertising threads are mostly amusing at best, some entertaining and others down right ridiculous. Being moderated having good intentions sucks but moderation is necessary so maybe it makes more sense to just have all aliases moderated for now.
