Have you noticed the changes yet?

When viewing the numbers in reviews, it is now required to be VIP to even just see performance numbers and what is said about attitude & atmosphere.

What are everyone's thoughts about these changes??

I guess even at TER money must be tight not given nothing away!!!

As a business woman from a marketing standpoint, I think it's an excellent idea.  It puts into place a strategy to ensure people will purchase their VIP status.

As a provider, still, an excellent idea.  When moving to AZ, I quickly realized that TER is the main venue for gentlemen when choosing a provider.  It is a valuable tool, and a gentleman who has VIP status, has generally done his research and knows EXACTLY what he wants.

I recently turned down a dude, due to the fact that he did NOT have VIP status, and kept asking me questions about my services stating, "I couldn't find the answers to my questions in your reviews".  When confronted about him having VIP status, he admitted he did not and IMO, he seemed too cheap to go ahead and purchase a 30 day membership, hence - would probably wind up trying to barter or bargain with me in regards to my donation.

Smart business move, TER.  Very smart

was easily figured out after searching for a review. Its a smart business move for TER in order to get people into VIP status.  Makes sense to me.

There may be more questions flooding the boards from non VIPs asking about not so well known girls who do have some reviews. In fact, I think TER should go a step further and make the General Details for VIP only as well.  I just looked at a review for Michelle Passions and read "Michelle travels a lot. This girl is amazing in bed, is intelligent and has a friendly personality. Please treat her with respect, she is a wonderful provider."  

That would be all I need to know and defeats the purpose of not being able to read "attitude", "performance" etc.

every time they make one of these changes to encourage membership i become more disinclined to even bother coming here.
it started with the mail system and is just rolling along.
say what you want about Elms he at least had a clue on how to keep the site useful.
the new admin needs to find that clue before the site is dead.

To bring people to a site(or any business) and then taking away the little info that was offered for free to get them there may backfire.
Guys have spent some big $s over the years to supply TER with their library of info. I for one do not rely totally on the little that was offered for free  and if was serious about seeing someone would get the VIP. I would think that they would want to keep that little peep window open to entice people to come in for the full show. Time will tell.

very much agreed and well written. coming from a sometimes VIP member, this is a bad move.

the original mission was to be  a forum for hobbyists. providers were heavily moderated and mostly limited to posting ads once weekly after being approved by a moderator and jumping through the hoops.
Until the bigdoggie smackdown a few years ago this board was a nonentity to be blunt.

then michealca decided to loosen the handcuffs a bit and we entered the agency period of the local hobby. while unrelated they both contributed to the mess this board became.

shills etc abounded and the board became pretty useless. one of the best decisions the administration ever made was to remove mikeca as a mod IMO.

things started to improve until the new change in administration, now i look elsewhere for information. i come here when im bored and thats all there is left to say about ter.

wow.. now I can't even get an appearance rating...lame.

I was thinking about calling a certain provider but now that I can't see even an appearance or a performance, I'm not even going to chance it.A provider just lost work.

the local competition, there are other venues and google is your friend.
