Twas the night before christmas, revamped for those that need help with holiday stress.
Twas three weeks before christmas,
The lights, decorations and stockings were all hung with great care.
In hopes of generous clients would soon be there.
The towels all fluffy and warm,
oils and lotions all waiting patiently for bodies to adorn.
With visions of tight knotted muscles and stressed holiday shoppers dancing in her head, The poor Massage Therapist couldn't get a wink of sleep in her comfy down bed.
When in walked a poor down trodden soul. All twisted and knotted from head to toe.
"Help me" he cried, I have been pushed and shoved, stepped on, and run over, besieged by relatives escaping winter snow, oh the horror of the holidays, you just don't know!
"Come quick" she responded and took hold of his hand.
I have the cure for the holiday blues, I assure you I am the best in the land!
With great skill and care she gently kneaded his body, every finger, every toe, every muscle with such style and flair!
When she was finished, he arose from the table with such a clatter, she had to double back to see what was the matter.
He had thrown on his clothes and ran like a flash,
When what to my wondering eyes should appear?
The happiest client ready to face family and shopping malls with out fear!
His eyes, how they twinkled, His dimples how merry,
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry,
His smile drawn up in a maschevious grin.
He was standing upright, ready to be a secret holiday elf again.
And I laughed when I saw him, inspite of myself
A wink of his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And gave me hug then turned with a jerk,
And giving a nod, it was out the front door he choose;
He sprang to his car, and gave a whistle,
And away he flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, as he drove out of sight,
"HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL, AND MAN DO I FEEL ALRIGHT!"
