It seems that Arpaio has angered quite a lot of people and not only liberals or lefties at large but also quite a lot of people in the Republican parties as well, including John McCain.

The presidential debate of the last election was so fierce and loud that it totally prevented most people from focusing on any debate about Arpaio.

I know a few correctional officers and cops who are plain tired of him. Most people still think that "bad people need a bad treatment", which is true, but in reality many people in county jails are innocent and awaiting trial. 1000 inmates at tent city for 2 COs make it an "everything goes" area where it is easier to get drugs or to get raped or even killed than in the street.

Those who are pro-Arpaio (and we all know so many) need to hear the following:

. He cannot manage the county jails properly and that's his main job.
. His jails are so badly managed that a woman died from lack of insuline although she was screaming in pain for days and her daughter pleaded for them to give it to her. Plus she was in a jail before and they provided her with insuline at the time.
. He had his officers get naked and had them started to get sexual favors from sex workers during his stings.
. Arpaio screwed up the life of a kid by making him look like he wanted to assasinate him. It was entrapment, the kid stayed for 4 years in jail for nothing, except to be part of a publicity act for Arpaio and now it seems that millions of our tax dollars are going to be paid in a settlement
. Unaccounted amount of money locked up and used in a manner that cannot be audited because Arpaio simply has the auditors kicked out each time they show up
. The Republican party does not want him and supported Saban
. Most correctional officers and deputies are tired of him. Ask them yourself
. All those who oppose him lose their jobs or are put in dead end positions. He fired the SWAT leaders and then this year dismembered the SWAT altogether (makes you feel safer?)
. Anybody could easily end up in jail by drinking too much one day and then taking the wheel, only to be pulled over and arrested. Wrong charges can be put up against you. We all have 10% chances in our life to end up in jail. How would you like to eat green bologna and wear pink undies then? Oh, and the pink hand cuffs. How much of our tax money did they cost?
. Chain gangs don't make us save money. They cost us more by taking somebody else's job (think Shawshank Redemption).
. There is a secret jail in Mesa by the South West court which is supposed to be closed. Instead, he has VIPs and relatives of VIPs (for instance Colangelo's daughter) jailed there instead of tent city in exchange for politial favor

I talk to my clients and I still haven't come across one person that has had anything nice to say about Arpaio. It still amazes me that the fool got himself re-elected.

I plan on doing whatever I can to help with a recall of that jackass!
