In north Scottsdale on via Linda there is a place named Tesoro. It is family owned specializing in northern Italian cooking. Small restaurant but great food. They serve Osso buco on Friday and Saturday nights only(get a reservation) You will be pleased.

Was in Phoenix for spring training in March. This place is small but the food was great. Ate there 3 times. I am not a big guy either. You have some serious talent in Phoenix too
