Does anyone else here find it interesting how many reads you get on an eom subject post? eomteeth_smile

If you opened this not knowing what eom means, the acronym stand for:

End OF Message

i.e. there is nothing inside the post, so you don't need to waste you time opening it, 'cuz all you will see inside is...

   END OF MESSAGE

The proper way to let others know that they don't need to open your post is to place these letters at the end of the subject line.

Example:

"Does anyone else here find it interesting how many reads you get on an eom subject post? eom"

There are appropriate variations such as EOM or(eom). Occasionally you may see the lazy ass variant: e (yeah, just plain "e") which I, HalfHour, officially proclaim is unacceptable.

Now, if you were fully aware of the eom, and still opened this post is is for one of two reasons.

First, if you anticipated that since the actual SUBJECT of the post is people who open EOM posts, that I, HalfHour, might have gone ahead and typed something in the body of the post for those less astute... Congratulations! You were spot on.

The second reason could well be that you are one of my rare devotees who looks forward to reading my every written word, and as such you know that occasionally I will post a comment or an occasional dirty limerick inside an eom post because that's the way I roll!

If you have a third reason, keep it to yourself.

:)
HalfHour

you have to if you want to reply to the post.

reason #4
you are a spazz that clicks the mouse constantly while surfing.

I am guilty of all. as usual.

I also agree that "e" is unacceptable unless you ran out of room and in that case, it should be a loooong subject lilne.

you are not the only one who posts dirty things inside the eom messages.
I do look forward to reading every word you write.

I hate your handle but I think you only use it because you like to pretend to be a cheap-skate online to see how different escorts respond to you.  I suspect in reality, you never book half hour sessions.

At the risk of sounding like 1/2 of a mutual admiration society... I LOVE your posts!!! and miss them greatly when you're not around!

You are correct in what you suspect. My handle may look like the time I may book. But I'll put it like this: it's how long I like to 'kiss' a lady's special spot, to make sure we're BOTH sufficiently hot.

:) how do ya make the little winking smiley???

(never booked a)

As you say an EOM at the end of the post should indicatec no need to open I always try to post something like this;

This is a post . . .  Which clearly indicates I something to say in addition. Now you may be one who specifically doesn't want to read anything I say which is fine. So don'topen the post.

You have to click onto the post to see if the post is from an alias or not. Something could be said that may make one want to send a private mail.

I also click to see if there are any reviews posted under the handle, since by and large a hobbyist's credibility may be gauged by his reviews, or lack thereof.

different colors.
if the post has not been opened the subject line is blue if opened the subject line is red.
that way when i go to a page I can quickly scan to see what I've not yet read.

However when a therad goes to page two all the posts go back to blue, not sure why that is that way.

Thank you
