What is going on here in our community?

Lots of posts about civility, getting along, bitch slapping, name calling and boycotting. Not to mention review tampering, false reviews, shilling and preferential treatment for reviews or providers.

In a perfect world the TER system would be perfect. Everyone would be rated a 10 and providers would be happy with each client they see. Clients would have a perfect experience with every provider they see. Everyone would be treated equally. But we don’t live in a perfect world. As for us that live in the “Fantasy” world of the adult business we know there is no such thing as perfect.

Why can’t we all just get along? Because we are all different. We are all searching for something different, whether it is a down and dirty PSE, or a sweet and sensual GFE, and all the millions of other satisfying get togethers offered by the ladies of this board.

How boring would it be if we all sought the same things? If we all shared the same thought patterns. If we were all a bunch of horny stepford wives and husbands, cookie cutter, everyone gets their fair share group.

I am all for fairness in our community, I don’t like to see anyone pushed aside or overlooked because they have a differing opinion from mine. However, our system of fairness is that we all get to voice our differing opinions. Some people are much more politically correct and some people are brutally honest. You have a right to call out those who are just being brutal and not for honesty’s sake. But when we resort to name calling, and belittling our fellow members then we are doing nothing but stirring the caldron and stoking the fire to make our tempers boil over.  

There are those among us who love the depravity and anger they can stir up with one simple post. It gives them joy to see us all follow them down the path of mean spirited responses and turning on one another like a pack of rabid wolves. Their mission is accomplished ten fold, and they couldn’t be happier. But for the rest of us we are just taken in by the moment and our heat of action and think better of what we have just said after we cool down.

Why not let the trouble makers posts sit idle and unresponded to. Why not let them see that we have far better things to do and say then to respond to their inflammatory remarks. If one member calls them out, then let it be, no need to chime in.

Someone else has already expressed a collective opinion for the rest of us level headed members.

Think before you type.

Express yourself with eloquence and an educated post and your thoughts and opinions will be appreciated.

Being respected by your fellow community member’s means that you have to respect yourself first and then be respectful to the others who post here.

You can’t command respect when you spill venom and discontent with your posts.

There will always be “The In Crowd”, there will always be shills, and there will always be those who have a higher horse, and so on.

The object is to listen to what they have to say and then decide what to do with the information. If it is useless to you, then move on, no need to point out the idiocy you find in their postings.

When we as adults act like school children we trivialize the whole board and all the important and fun things that we share here. Don’t let those who choose to be naysayers to everything ruffle your feathers, because that is exactly what they are setting out to do.

You have the power to make this board what you want it to be, when you give in to the select few who set out to make it venomous, you give all the power to them.

Just my humble opinion for what its worth and I accept yours whether you agree with me or not lol
