...was it a positive or negative effect?

Hope it was a great week for all of you, of course, but just curious.

I had calls, but the gents said things like "Well you must be so busy you can't see me." and when I'd say, actually, I don't have anything set up with anyone. Can I have your references? I got hung up on.

So.....

No one wanted to supply references, no play for me.

normally barrett jackson is about 2 weeks before the golf tournament. this year they ran almost the same time and i got guys, (a few groups of 3-5) that come in every year for those events. oh canada !

on the agency side of things, friday night guys were just calling and asking to be put on the list if anyone became available. 2 hours later they'd still be waiting patiently. we were busy even during the game.

I couldn't come to B-J this year, but if I had, you'd have been high on my list for AT LEAST one appointment.

I would have to say it had a positive effect on me as I was busy hanging out with all my NY clients,  coming out to watch the game!
