Hi everyone, it's me Sahara Jewel! I know I haven't been around in forever and only a couple of you know why! You know how when us girls dissapear, people start assuming weird things like we were busted, or we're LE, we moved or are dead! Well, thankfully none of those apply to me!

I was diagnosed with leukemia in May of last year. I was in the hospital from May to October! I finished my last round of chemo in December! I have been in remission now for 33 weeks!!! Even though there is no cure for this type of leukemia, since it's in my bone marrow, I just stay strong and know that I will be here much longer than the Dr's say!!! So, now that I am starting to feel semi human, I wanted to come by and say hello and wish you all a prosperous year! I truly hope everyone is doing well!!!

I appreciate the strength that y'all give me! I have just learned to take what seems like an impossible situation and make the best out of it. You learn alot going through this process and one thing is that life truly is too short and you must enjoy it to the fullest!

I forgot to update y'all on another subject. The last y'all knew, I had successfully lost 175 lbs. Well, now that I have finally stopped losing, I have lost over 250 lbs!!!  Hard to imgaine, I know....But I am so happy that I made it through!
