I just wanted to say a public thank you to Madison's-Avenue for reminding me what I am doing in this business. From behind the scenes, I really don't meet many clients or even talk to them for that matter anymore. Sunday night Madison referred a gentleman to me who was in desparate need of some companionship and "diversion" as he called it. He had never seen a companion before and was extremely nervous. After speaking with him at length, I suggested he see Summer. Well, after me screwing up the directions and finally getting her there (I'm rusty, what can I say!), she said she had a wonderful time with a great man. Now, I was of course pleased that things went well, but didn't really think anything more of it. The next day I received a phone call from the gentleman. Oh, no, I thought. Something went wrong. So I called him back expecting the worst. What I got was the best phone conversation I've had in a long time. He couldn't stop raving about her and telling me how wonderful everything was. See, he had lost his smile and I helped him gain it back. (Not as much as Summer, of course!). He's going through a bad time in his life and everyone he knows was worried about him. After seeing Summer, he had renewed energy and strenght to continue fighting the battles of life. He had me grinning from ear to ear and by the end of the conversation, my cheeks hurt from smiling so much. He reminded me of why I am in the business I am in. To help people smile. Sounds kind of corny, I know, but after dealing with behind the scenes BS on a daily basis, it is really nice to experience something like this...pure enjoyment and passion. I'm pretty sure the genlteman will never know this post existed because he is not a TER junkie 
, but I just needed to tell someone the effect he had on me. You guys are the closest thing to him and hopefully I made a point to all the independents and agency owners...remember why you are here. To make people smile!
