A Friend is Gone

I've been asked to convey to our community that a long-time hobbyist, known to many of the ladies but probably little-known to the gentlemen, finally lost his long struggle with cancer last week.  Known simply as "OhNoMrBill" to most, Bill was a gentleman of immense personal emotional capacity.  Many ladies held special places in his heart, and vice-versa.

Bill's physical stature was small, yet he lived life very large, and loved sharing the ride with those who chose to join him.  In some ways, he lived a Hunter S. Thomson-like life...sometimes reckless, sometimes poignant, but always passionate.

Mya was with him regularly during his final months, and saw him just a few hours before he passed, and tells me that he was at peace and seemed ready.  Bill would have wanted us all to go out and have a blast in his honor, so next time you're having a really good time, think about him...he may be smiling (and watching)!

I spoke with Mya the day after this tragic event took place. Bill was not only a stellar man with a fantastic love of life, he was a very kind and caring man who took life neither too seriously, nor too lightly. The perfect blend of love and kindness, adoration and passion, he is a man I regret I did not get to know sooner or better. As much as I will miss him, I am greatly relieved that his suffering is finally over. He fought his battle valiantly and never gave up living life. Bill is a man whose personality and passion and love I hope to find some day in a long-term partner of my own. He will always own a special place in my heart and the hearts of so many others here.

Here's to Bill, lover, friend, father, son, and wonderful man. I can't wait to see you when I cross to the Other Side and hope you were met with many friends and relatives, animals and angels.

Love,

Megan

I have thought about him often and found him to be one of the most intriguing people I have ever met.  The kind of person that you can talk to for hours and not run out of things to discuss.  Bill had an enormous amount of passion and intellect.

I will always remember his personal words of encouragement.

While visiting with him he made it clear that I was not to wear a particular ladies robe, he had  an immense amount of respect for this lady,he considered her belongings sacred.

I hope the lady that snuggled up in that robe is doing ok.

His life will continue on through the wonderful memories that he has left behind for many to cherish.

R.I.P My friend.

I never met the gentleman, but heard of him through Mya who spoke of him with great affection.  Her caring attitude belies those who think that the relationship betwen provider and hobbyist is always strictly business.
My sympathies to his family and, of course, to Mya for this tragic event.  May he rest in peace.

Mr. Bill.  I knew him personally and have had been fortunate enough to be invited to Bill's home for a birthday party.  While he was sick then it had not advanced to the critical stage and like many I perfer to remember him that way.  A very kind gentleman, one who had a special place in his heart for the very few ladies he saw, he will be missed and the hobby has lost a true friend.

I dont believe I ever met Bill, although I think he's come up in conversation more than once (always in glowing terms). Obviously he held a special place in the hearts of more than a few here. From the little bit posted he sounded like a great guy.......

on the loss of this gentleman to so many friends. I did not have the pleasure of getting to know him especially well but know that he was admired and loved by many.

I've known him since I answered my own phones and he was always a pure pleasure to speak with.  Another man who truly enjoyed the hobby and didn't let the drama get in the way.  He will be missed by many.
