I have a had more than the usual amount of calls for guys who want to stop for a quick hello. The past has proved to me these are the ones who will not call back to schedule but will try to continue email and phone calls.
Has this happened to other provders?
You guys ask for a quick hello? If so, what is the result?
I never did get the half hour session. In fact, I don't like "sessions" at all. I much prefer "dates". I can't even get my shoes off in a half hour, nevermind getting me off.
I have thought about this, the main reason would be for me to make sure that you are who you present yourself as in your ad. I worry that the pictures will be 5 years old and things have changed...a lot. I am also a freak about teeth, if you have jacked up teeth or bad breath then I am out. Many times the face is blurred or the girl is not smiling, so I can't see her teeth. I do understand that this is a business for the provider so I have not asked.
A question for providers, what you you say if I emailed asking about your teeth and how clean your mouth is (ie no rotten teeth in the back). Would you answer honestly? Would you be offended?
The calls are guys who want to stop and say hello - no appointment, just to say hi and meet me. Suppossedly they will call another time to schedule an appointment. I have not agreed to this as of yet, don't need all the traffic. I really think they are the ones who probably would never schedule time anyways. Perhaps just the fantasy of having met a provider and then they can keep up emails or phone calls? Really can't get the true intention of these requests.
That's what photos and websites and blogs are for.
I don't ever take those requests seriously.
Wouldn't you compare it to 'window-shopping' vs. the 'intentional buyer'? I mean, strictly from a business standpoint; if you're charging for your time, it doesn't make sense to be giving out free samples to unestablished clients.
It's easy. let's say normally you charge 250/hr for your time. Since it is for just your time, that comes to just over $4 per minute. So, since that would not be worth your time, about $20/min for a quick hello should be about right.....
Kidding..... Who could stay with you for just a few minutes.......
Go for coffee...meet them for a drink....on the clock of course. Comming from the east coast, it is not unusual for a lady to have a social companionship rate..and then to offer some off a session rate if the social meeting adjourns to the bedroom....
now left the area, offered a 'Meet for coffee' sort of social date.
My memory of the specifics is a bit sketchy but I think it was like $30 or $40 for a 20-30 minutes, in public at a restaurant I believe, to chat and get to know each other. Maybe build a little chemisrty.
I thought it was a great idea. I had planned to do that, but didn't get the opportunity.
Maybe some of the "ol' timers" are lurling and could give some more accurate detail.
The provider was AZ Candy Cane. She has a couple of different but similar practices now in Ohio that you can look at.
This question is just too perfect to pass up. I'm a Provider in Phoenix, and I'd be thrilled if someone were to call me up and ask about my smile and oral hygiene! I've invested around 50K in it, and my smile is killer!! (But, I'm a dentist... Don't know how other Providers would respond.)Meanwhile, I'll just keep on flying under the radar.
