I normally do not post on this board unless something really gets me going, and the events this week have me in a rare mood.

The events over the past week have been very telling that this is a special election year.  What a wonderful time to pull a moral raid, close to elections.  But why haven't those efforts been going towards bringing those mortgage brokers and lenders to justice for the mess they have placed on the backs of those of us who now have the means to support it.  Better yet, what has the mayor been doing the past several years to bring better paying careers into the valley???  All I have seen in the past 10 years is the increase of out-sourcing of the tech jobs to Southeast Asia and India and an increase in the low paying, service industry jobs, if that.

Granted, I believe that providers should be required to obtain a city license, just like any other business, and certain health monitors be put in place to keep everyone safe and keep the drug thing, if there really is one, from being the, so-called, major reason to bust the providers.  If honest providers are such nasty people, you have to wonder why our politicians and prominent business people, sometimes cops and judges as well, are always caught with them.  We are all human beings and we all have our faults.  It used to be you could always believe your religious leaders for guidance and direction, not any more !!!  Personally, I have found that the providers I have seen over the past 7 years are great people.  As a matter of fact, I would trust them as if they were a family member.

Given the state of the economy since the dot com problem. When you realistically view the problems with keeping up with the white-collar fraud and corruption, why would/should a provider spent 10 hours a day, 5 days a week, working at a crappy job when she could realistically provide better for herself and family in, probably less than 8 hours ????  CEO's get millions for closing plants and job eliminations and damaging the entire infrastructure of America, and they are constantly rewarded by the investing community because the stock keeps going up.

Am I screwed up, or is it really time for a change in this great country of ours ????

While the bust appeared to be primarily focused on the "prostitution", there were other more significant alleged activities involved.  Think about it, if it were simply the "prositution" element, don't ya think the bust would have been bigger? (pun sorta intended!)

yet if it ever gets to that point in this country and It won't...I would expect it to be health certificates for all. The ladies will be required to be lic and std certficate in hand but I wooldn't at that point see anyone who can not prove he is clean also. Its only fair, ya know.
No worries, it will never happen.
