Scottsdale hobbyist who was attacked by a pimp a few years ago and appealed and had has sentence upheld by the Arizona Court of Appeals and post conviction relief at trial court.

The hobbyist was attacked after the provider called the pimp to attack the hobbyist and the hobbyist tried to leave.  Apparently the hobbyist was searched by LE and found to have his phone which was black and a pink phone determined to belong to the provider which he apparently took to prevent her from calling her pimp.  However he was convicted of "armed robbery" due to having the pink phone after being attacked by the pimp and a gun falling out of his jacket whilst the pimp attacked him.

Shockingly after further review it was determined that the pimp was facebook friends with a second provider whom the author of this message previously had bbfs with.

Clearly this is a miscarriage of justice and shows the terrible problems with the Arizona court system.

No link due to not wanting to out anyone but it was in the news a few years ago then it came to trial and appeal.

There is a huge disparity of sentence.  The 18 year old sugar baby I knew a while back her boyfriend was busted for armed robbery the same crime and only given three years whereas simply because a hobbyist was accused he got 17 years due to hobbyist discrimination.
