appreciate your keeping the comments directed
toward objectivity. Someone recently posted a
series of search results (if you're not VIP you
didn't see the same results as the rest of us--
same with the following link...sorry), which I
found a fascinating exercise. I played with it
for hours. (How nerdy is that?)
Using Hacker's rule that "performance matters
most of all", you can go to Search Reviews and
produce a list of the best "products" in our
Valley. You can't sub-sort by price, so you'll
have to do a little clicking on those results to
make your own decision about "value", but I can
tell you that almost all of these ladies are
within $ of each other.
One other point...for that search I told it to
only list providers with 25 or more reviews.
Statistically speaking, ratings probably become
more and more reliable when they reflect a longer
history of quality, IMO.

Just FYI, if one removes "Phoenix" from the
search criteria, you get a National performance
ranking, and Phoenix has NINE ladies in America's
Top 100!

you should put those 9 up here or elsewhere (unless that would be a TOS violation of some kind).......
Now if we look at the $$$ spread you have anywhere from a 33% to 20% spread ($300-$500 rate) if you go +/-. You'd also have to run it for both the "looks" & "performance" and then combined since we all have different wieghting on what matters most....to some guys looks matter most...others performance and myself (and many others) are a hybrid....
I was wondering how you came up with those statistics.I have 29 pages of reviews with good performances so i was just curious......

of the list IMO. Which really goes to show the value of quality contacts. I'll match up my "list" vs that one any day....however I wont fault OC for doing the legwork
....
First, you have to be logged into your VIP account to get the full search function. All I did was "Sort by" performance, selected 25 to ____ for "total reviews", selected Escort for "service type" and that's what produced the list.
Foxy, you do have very high ratings, and yours is an example of how people should look behind the numbers. Your ratings in the recent past are top-tier material. It's hard to change an average with so many scores, however (and I had the GPA to prove it).

Run the same Phoenix performance search, and change the number of review criteria from 25 to 10 and watch what happens.
If one were to decide that 10 reviews minimum were enough, the top girl in Phoenix performance-wise....is TS Nina.
That was just moving one criteria down a bit.
Just imagine what kind of top lists one could create with a little more manipulation.
That's what I mean when I say you really CAN use statistics to prove anything.
THAT'S the crazy part-and what one should bear in mind for before they put faith in what numbers "tell" them.

I know honey, so if someone was looking for a particular thing, it changes, if you only do a search with 1 review certainly it changes and I would be at the bottom of the list.
Were were talking about the same thing, I'm not manipulating the #'s and you are with the criteria that you enter in the search to narrow down the list, and that's very good!

I absolutely love playing with the search functions here, and learned if one tweaks the search criteria sufficiently, nearly any provider can be number one.
For example, just changing the total reviews criteria on the Phoenix providers from "25 and up" to "25 to 30", generates an entirely different result.
Tweak it even further from there, amuse your friends, have fun at parties.
I believe that we live in an age where we have almost too much raw data available, too many variables, so many ways to filter data that the results can become meaningless.
To the point that you really CAN use statistics to prove anything.
Which, when it's all said and done, winds up proving nothing at all.

by you hobbyist are one thing but yet when you calculate them and come up with a percentage there worthless.
I'm saying when one can take those review numbers (raw data) and apply endless sorting criteria to create endless percentages, the result can be meaningless.
Note I said "can" not "is", "meaningless" not "worthless".
The saying goes "Numbers don't lie", but that doesn't mean they can't be used to tell many different stories.
I opine that one should perhaps consider that when attempting to infer "facts" from what another's particular sorting of raw data implies.
It applies to ANY data, hobbyist ratings, economic indicators, farm production stats, you name it.
Now, whether it's worthless or not, that's up to the person making the inferences I suppose. Or the person makes their decisions based on that person who made the inferences.
Here's something else to think about:
There has been debate ad nauseam for years that the hobbyist rating system here is inaccurate, too subjective, unfair, inflated or suspect in one way or another.
Considering the concept of garbage in-garbage out, how much "worth" should one assign to any distillation of this kind of disputed data?
Just putting these ideas out there-they're general concepts I think about when I am reading this site, and maybe other people do as well.
Discussion is fun, and I love to get other people's take on things.
Watching people savage each other in mean spirited posts holds about as much interest to me as watching two dogs fight in the street.
So, gentle readers, if you see yourselves in my musings and take offense, you're looking too hard.
I'm not saying anything specifically TO or ABOUT anyone with this topic.
Cause again, at the end of the day, all I wanna do is

My post was just raw data and presented as a whole for phoenix with all ages included and 25 reviews and nothing more.
Using the 25 or 20 or 15 reviews don't change much but at least you get stability.
So when I say I'm a Top Rated Provider in Phoenix I'm not lying and have data to back me up...I think that's good thing!!!!
I'm proud of my reviews, whether I'm a Phoenix favorite or not.

that is a true statement that this discussion board and entire site actually is meant to provide hobbiests with reviews and 411 on providers. As long as reviews are provided per the site rules, are not vulgar or offensive, and are accurate and honest (which is up to the moderators of this site to monitor) then it seems like no one should have a right to complain.
To be honest I only use the reviews to determine that the post pics are accurate and get a sense of what services are provided.. other than that I assume everything else fits under YMMV. I have no idea what some other hobbiest's preferences are and maybe he weighs 400lbs and smells like onions and garlic.. so let's not kid ourselves that these reviews are completely objective. And maybe a provider can take something from a bad review and incorporate it into their 'act' so to speak.
Its true that reviews do affect a provider's business but that is life in the big-bad-city and no its not fair..
BTW, I have been lucky to meet some great ladies in Phx so far and I am sure there are many more gems still out there..

I agree with most of what you are saying but have a few points to add.
This board is not just a hobbyist board but also one for Providers to ALL get along peacfully exchanging information about good and bad experiences. To let hobbyist know about B/S, ROB and the down sides of things.
Performance/ looks at a fair price all come into play.
We all need to do our homework and pick out a lady whose qualities, looks, performance and price match what we are looking for.
Can't we just all get along and have a Rock your world session? Wheres the Love?
I normally ignore your posts because, IMHO, they lack any semblance of credibility. However, with the turmoil on the board lately I knew this one would be a real opinionated duesy, so I had a momentary lapse and opened the post. Hacker, I can honestly say, I disagree with everything you said in this post.

I guess there's no way for providers to read reviews written by hobbyist to learn about the hobbyist, what he/she likes and looks for so the provider can provide the ultimate session for a new client. Or read her own reviews to see how she can improve her service? That's really nice to know.

As I said, this is nothing more that wasting board space.

As the number one Shiller in Phoenix, I can understand that you feel this is your board. Especially by the way you bludgeon anyone who disagrees with you. (Case in point, the "ditz" comment to Ciara above.) But hacker, you are sorely mistaken. I for one, along with many others, enjoy the verbal repartee between hobbyist and providers alike. If this bothers you, that's just too bad. Ignore it if you don't like, but shut up, we're tired of hearing your whining.
