Scottsdale PD seems to be Dialing for Dollars again tonight.

Looks like Scottsdale is very active tonight.  Everyone involved believes at least is sting again, although may now be doing continuously since need to replace the decline in DUI fines for budget deficit and police increased salaries etc.

Report as recent as just after 6PM targeting high end Scottsdale (but could be broader) companions . They seem to be going where the money is - high end - for possible RICO gains as Scottsdale needs funding.

The usual fake references.   More than one cop by different sounding voices. Seem to be "dialing for dollars " to find people to arrest

Details due to legal issues only shared you know where and alert just went out.

Last contact known about  About 6:15PM  Tues 8/27
 Well known $400/hr Scottsdale companion

It is noted Scottsdale DUI arrests are way down with the bars trying to get late night drunks into Taxis and not drive.  So DUI fine revenue is way down so the suggestion is they see companion busts either for prostitution if say the wrong thing or escorting without licenses with the new Scottsdale expanded law as a replacement revenue source.

Also noted that Scottsdale has both a large police budget and debt so needs fines

AZ Republic 5/29/13 - Scottsdale has taken on new debt to pay for such things as its McDowell Sonoran Preserve and an expansion at the Tony Nelssen Equestrian Center. Now, city officials say the price tag for these investments is the prevailing reason that Scottsdale’s debt per capita — the money per resident that Scottsdale has borrowed and must pay back — ranks the highest among eight major Valley cities.

AZ Republic 5/28/12 -  Scottsdale officials are debating the cost of offering top-notch police and fire protection to citizens, a service that consumes the biggest chunk of the city's budget for basic operations.  Some elected officials have questioned the high price tag of the public-safety division, saying the city has cut back in other departments but hasn't considered streamlining police and fire.

Critics cite a statistic that show Scottsdale outranks all major Valley cities except for Phoenix in public-safety employees per capita.  Scottsdale has 4.3 public-safety employees per 1,000 residents, compared with 4.1 in Tempe, 3.9 in Glendale and 3.8 in Mesa, data compiled by Scottsdale shows.

"The point is, how much public safety can the city afford? How much should they afford?" Scottsdale City Councilman Ron McCullagh said at a recent council meeting. "Let's look at it from the standpoint of the budget." and "High pay is necessary to attract and retain top officers."

Councilman Bob Littlefield opposes any cuts to public safety.  In Scottsdale, the crime rate fell by 14 percent during the first two months of 2012 compared with the same time in 2011.  "Scottsdale's low crime rate is due precisely to the resources we currently invest," Littlefield said.

But argue low pay scales for lower officers with increases in 2013
Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane said the crux of the concern lies in the starting salary for police officers, noting that mid- and upper-end salaries "are not really in trouble."  A Scottsdale compensation study showed the city's police officers take home the lowest starting pay of any major Valley city.  Scottsdale pays its rookie officers an average of $49,878. Gilbert is next lowest, paying its new officers $50,544. "What we're seeing is we're no longer competitive," said Jim Hill, president of the Police Officers of Scottsdale Association, at a council meeting.

With the economy in recovery mode, the Scottsdale City Council tentatively has backed a plan to spend $3.3 million on raises and salary adjustments for eligible employees next fiscal year.  The plan would offer merit pay raises to high-qualifying workers and bump up the salaries of about 420 workers whose pay lags others in the market.

 Public safety in the Valley
Phoenix ranks highest in the number of public-safety employees per 1,000 residents. The 2011-12 numbers are based on preliminary data compiled by Scottsdale. Cities and their public-safety employees per 1,000 residents:
 Phoenix: 4.5
 Scottsdale: 4.3
 Tempe: 4.1
 Glendale: 3.9
 Mesa: 3.8
 Chandler: 2.9
 Peoria: 2.9
 Gilbert: 2.6

Dave concludes to maybe to help solve the budget issues and pay police more lets really dig in on the war on in private consenting adult companions where the real money is from fines, RICO taking of homes and property etc.. go where the money is - the upper level Scottsdale companions.

Be safe and follow the golden rules - never discuss money for anything sexual like GFE etc that is illegal.

Respond to or write only ads with hourly stated rates for companionship so never discuss by phone or initially in person.

Never use GFE or worse terms in ads since that is a slam dunk solicitation bust 15 days to 10 years in prison depending on situation. Worse if under aged involved.

Reviews will often wind up in police reports and evidence books.

I'm starting to think you are a conspiracy theorist...

I know nothing about law enforcement  but you would think they would be more concerned with cleaning up low level providers (with pimps, drugs, etc) that work out of hotels and could damage the respectability of "Scottsdale and the tourist trade" rather than quiet, under the radar providers working out of their home.

Just saying

Dave likes to troll all the OLD NEWS in the valley!!! He throws some exaggerated words of his own in it, makes it look like it's happening now and posts it on every site known to man. He's the cry wolf guy in the valley, maybe you should take up knitting instead Dave

LE is VERY active right now. He is looking out mostly for us gals....especially since they only seem interested in us and not the men. Why they don't go after the guys I don't understand - it does take TWO to "tango".

And he has balls to post under his name and NOT hide behind an alias.

So thank you Dave for keeping us up to date on all the activities doing on here in the valley.

You have got to be the most pathetic person on this board. Really, an alias dude? And you have the nerve to tell someone to take up knitting? Yeesh.

If you're a provider who gets busted.....It's your own god damn fault for not screening!!!

I do not feel sorry for any provider who gets busted, robbed, etc. It's called your greed over rides your need for safety and you get what you deserve. Dave constantly posting about stings doesn't stop or prevent these busts, all it does is cause wide spread paranoia.

Use common sense, if something feels off always err on the side of caution. It's not that hard people!

Having an extravagant lifestyle that creates high income demands that you could not pay for having a legal job , not only makes you desperate to hold on to everything but it effects your judgement.

I find it so interesting that recently the person who complained about daves post was the person visited by police.  In its self - that should be a warning to take head and listen.

One thing I can say is that although you may not want to hear the truths of the matters regarding what is legal, safe, and the best way to do things.. if you look at the things he is reporting and advise, it is close to being spot on. If certain people and organizations took heed they may of not been in the trouble they are in. The people who complain and have a problem with ideas and postings and people who are safe and legit..in my opinion are the risk, and should be avoided like a plague. because they are not thinking safe or practicing safe what instant money or gratification and that ALWAYS leads to jail or worst. If I can count on one hand the events just in a few yrs,, Massage parlors, temple, studio, agencies, arrest, stings, and worst I wont mention , these lead me to take head and listen. NOT act like I am above a law or too good to be set up for anything.

I recently removed myself from another agency ran "board" there are reasons why.... for my own safety, I made the right choice. We all run a risk and decide for ourselves what we have to risk and what is worth it.

So complain if you want... I may see you on the news one day too ! Be sure to wear a name tag so we can all id you easier than waiting for dave to update us :)

EG, Honey. you're cute as hell and I've always wanted to see you but it's "heed" not "head"

Heed = pay attention

Head = well you know

In my experience, Dave's posts and alerts have always been pretty spot on and helpful.  I believe keeping the community safe is a genuine concern of his, and his intentions are nothing other than good.

As far as the other agency-run "board"......

I wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot-pole.  Let's just say I have my own pretty compelling reasons

The local boards in Arizona are run and operated by elderly J.K. (pimp)s.  Those MEN pose as independent providers and bully, harass & threaten the local and touring ladies.  They pray on ladies who are desperate & troubled.  Anyone with an ounce of intelligence knows not to participate in their unsafe and drug infested community.

Everyone has their own views and opinions; Dave just trying to let everyone has fun and safe.  You can listen to it or do you own risk. It is your own choice.  However I am not sure what to do this weekend lol

This is important information. I know it's a Buzz kill however, would you rather not know? I have read the information and it's correct. Would you prefer to pay an Attorney 5-600 an hour to give you a warning shot? I realize how much of a problem this LE activity is and how serious it can become if, you are the one that is charged. Go to Scottsdale at your own peril. Scottsdale will even accept you if you are ordered to serve a sentence in a different jail that is not quite so comfortable. It is all about the money. It is not a good idea to bury your head in the sand, if you want to stay a step ahead of problems. I think most intelligent people would opt to know what's going on. Some people can not post what they would like to because they work in the legal profession. However, Dave obviously cares about people so we should not run him off.

Bottom line is this: You could never have TOO much information regarding all the LE activity that's going on. As long as the info is RELIABLE and ACCURATE, no one (at least no one with half a brain) should object to this man posting it. Dave has no agenda. He is simply making sure everyone stays on their toes. He should be applauded, not criticized. Keep doing what you do Dave. Fuck any and everyone that takes issue with it.

Many of your warnings are holding merit by my experiences. Being bombarded consistently by overly persistent potential clients with bogus or no references. They use language, that to engage in, would mean incriminating myself. They don't take no for an answer and are very snide and pushy. You warned of some of the websites that had been infiltrated. As it turns out, many of the inquiries are coming from those sites!! No longer can I trust them as a means of client verification. I have noticed one potential client (who used unverifiable references) started his emails out as normal and seemingly harmless.  I strung him on knowing I had no intention of booking him for his lack of verifiable references.  I put him in a holding status to watch him and see what he would say next.  The closer we got to email about setting up a the appointment, is when he started soliciting using incriminated questions and his true intent seemed clear.  I did an IP search on the email and many times it doesn't tell me about the individual but in this case the GPS coordinates landed my street view right in front of the Paradise Valley police department.  I think the general consensus of the other ladies I talk to, all agree that something is going down. We are experiencing a lot of the same strange inquiries.  In my fifteen years of the business and the annual crackdowns, I have never experienced one as determined as this one.  I think that checking references is important, but don't let it override your intuition.

Dave is fantastic...even if 1 warning helps u not getting arrested is priceless. Go on Dave .. Keep doing what u do and keep us safe.

I quoted the escort comments you know where a few issues ago but...

A well known escort overheard cops doing busts about their quota and bonuses they get based on how many arrests they make.

Again its about the money but continue to in public try the sham about making it about children and pimps when most of the busts are very consenting adults and Scottsdale now seems to be targeting upper bracket companions since that is where the money is (especially if they follow on with RICO etc) besides the fines and now 15 days in jail in Scottsdale just for not having a licenses.

They have to go for the money also to pay for "housing".   Scottsdale has own jail doesn't use Sheriff Joe's so at least no mug shot posted.

Thank you Dave, for the information you provide us all.  It's better to have information upfront than blindly  lead to slaughter.

"Just because you're paranoid, it doesn't mean they are not out to get you"
I think it is obvious there is a bunch of bad stuff going down, especially in the E. Valley.  DUI revenue is down, so find another revenue stream.  One out of every eight Maricopa Co. residents were busted for DUI last year.  Cities, the county courts, Sheriff Joke all have their hands out for fiscally punishing "bad people".

I remember a few years Scottsdale PD used to go to Oldtown and use wax pencils to "X" the headlights cars in the club parking lots.  You cannot see it from your side, but they can and that's all the probable cause they need.

This has caused me to rethink safety.  I just talked to a friend about her ad. She had been thinking about deleting certain words and now she is doing it.  BP?  Pass. Entrapment.  Screening and references?  What used to be an inconvenience is now a welcome requirement.

Pseudo-religious right wing nuts are on a holy crusade to rid their world (or at least the County) of evil-doers and take their money and property in the process with "saving the children" as their excuse and justification.  The same ilk who demand that government get off their backs now use the most destructive police powers (RICO) to attack individuals they don't like.

Bottom line is we sure have reasons to be concerned and ignoring it ain't gonna make them leave us alone.  VOTE

Further, if a city does receive RICO monies form the county, it may not be used to subsidize General Fund expenditures, such as existing standard salaries and programs. Typically RICO monies are used to expand and enhance law enforcement efforts. When a city loses revenue they cant use RICO to make it up.

Regardless of where the money goes it is totally unfair but happens that companion homes, any assets found are taken EVEN IF ORIGINAL UNDERLYING CHARGES DISMISSED!!!!!

Lawyers have told companions it is almost impossible to reverse an asset forfeiture - you have the burden of proof to show the asset did NOT advance an illegal act even if drop charges as happened with many in the old Sheriff Joe's cases - all cases dismissed - an escort had to buy the equity in her home for $50k and another lost $20k in cash are just some examples that happened to some great gals that are active here.

In DD all the luxuary cars turned out to be rented and not much to go after.  The same will be in the Temple case (gals can't get any property released that was seized 3 yrs ago yet) and doubt many assets in the Studio similar felony bust or the big 4 massage parlors (where co-owner sadly committed suicide late last year before sentencing after a plea deal for felony and to was to go to prison.)
