I recently emailed a provider that i was VERY interested. she said i needed 2 references before anything pursued. so does anyone know how i would obtain references. Would i need to go with a agency? thx
You sound like you have good sense and looking for someone that is well reviewed and you should!!!!
Most experienced providers will ask for some personal info such as employment and work phone numbers to verify you!
The agencies will ask that info also.
The info you give will be protected and destroyed once you are check out....you have to trust them as you want to be trusted..it's a trade off.
You want to stay with someone well known and go through the hoops as the above posted suggested..even thought he suggests you don't.You really Need too
Don't take chances it's not worth it! Once you get to feeling comfortable then you can have a better feel with the unknowns.
I for one would never give anyone my employment info just for a chance to see someone.
Frankly I know at least 10 local men who have been burned and burned badly by giving out too much personal info. Im sure you have heard the same stories i have at least in passing.
I cannot in good faith advise anyone new to the hobby to give out his info to anyone he doesnt know and know very well. Several ladies know where i work, heck some of them have even been inside, thats the exception to the rule however.
Its not worth it in my opinion.
However you could trust Terri with any thing you cared to divulge she has a well earned reputation for discretion. Most of the other regular posters on this board can be trusted as well however Caveat Emptor ALWAYS applies.
