My suggestion for Harrisburg

Union Deposit area or Eisenhower area out by airport.  Stay out of Downtown area have heard many stories of bad JUJU if you know what I mean.  Hollywood Casino Area also has some nice places to stay.  Hope this helps.

The area off of I283 near Eisenhower blvd or Lindle road has some nice places.  There are also some nice places in Hershey about 10 minutes east.
